The 'go get a superior' attitude works rather well, actually, Xavier- and you even have the documentation to back it. These Dug milita are cowards and have no stomach to make more trouble than necessary. They let you in.

Very good, Xavier. Round of applause, I think.

Who da man who da man.
Anyway XCavier wastes no time in geting back to his freighter sized ship to store the parts ASAP. Then he will simply wait in the ship with Trax.

Consider it done! You can stay in radio contact with the players if you wish.

Yeah but Xavier knows they are doing things where they may not want to have someone interrupt them so he will wait for them to contact him.

"no trouble here" cuts in Takuan
"we were clumsy in bumping into you" he adds to the osokan.
"we shall be on our way now"

i'm assuming a talking osokan and the bureau officer have rather high will powers 🙂

I specifically asked for who was there, Takian- you are not.

damn..always a step behind....where am i

Oooh, I dunno, depends what groovy part in the plan the others had for you.

Rand wanted him to be with us so that we could all walk out together. 😖

"It seems your...friend, here," Rand cuts in, "managed to step into the path of our cart. We're terribly sorry, we must not have been paying attention. Newhaven seems to be in a bit of a worrying state, what with these influenzas and...rather...large fellows, walking around."

Rand looks up at the Osokan, and tries to gather what he can about this particular Osokan from a Savoir-Faire roll.

"You seem to be a rather impressive member of your species."

Galder cracks his knuckles tensely.

I...HATE...these bastards... Galder thinks to himself, thinking about how easy it would be just to slash down the Bureau officer and then challenge the pig.

"Just watch where you're going, 'kay?" Galder says, his voice full of sarcasm and contempt, to the Osokan.

Oh, and Ush. Rand would like to use Scan on our Osokan friend and the officer, and then Empathy to see what they think of us and each other.

Empathy is a no-brainer result, Rand. As with all Osokan teams, the Osokans are basically only working for the Bureau out of necessity and so they all fear the Agent, as he represents the system that can end their hunting days with a word, and hate him as well for the same reason, and so...

... no, wait a minute. Something is wrong here. That Osokan isn't afraid at all! And that Agent is staring at you, Rand, and you suddenly have a very bad feeling about something.

"Well now," says the Osokan to you, Galder, "what makes you think I wasn't watching?"

And Rand, you specifically named who was there and did not name Takuan. There are reasons why I sometimes ask for such specifics, so that's your mistake.

The Agent gets out his id.

"Agent S'Nar, Bureau of Immigration and Undesirables. I'd just like to ask a few routine queastions, such as who you guys are, and what you are doing on Newhaven."

"Pfft, why us?" Galder asks. "We've already left all the information you need at the starport. Pick on someone else."

Gallador isn`t there, right? I remember he was checking the defence of generator. Maybe he can try to gossip with one of the people working at the warehouse to gather more info?

Sounds fair enough, Melkor. Perhaps descend with Tanic to the warehouse floor? Try and keep a low-ish profile, so that we don't get questioned.

Having said that, though, all they'll do is throw us out - politely, probably, in case we are important. So, let us descend to the warehouse floor.

Tanic would like to go toward the generators.

"Please just answer the questions, sir," says S'Nar, glancing back from Rand to Galder, speaking in a near monotone.

"You'd better," says the Osokan. He's staring deeply into your eyes, Galder. "Non-coperation with the Bureau is..." and at this point he salivates a little, "a 'dangerous' error."

-

You'll be spotted by the Quartermaster if you do that, folks- he is Neimodian, btw.

Neimodian?

Um, okay. Scratch that, while I think of something else.

I specifically said that Takuan would be with us several times, and as I remember I was the one coming up with the specifics, ie who'd be there, what each person would do, etc....

"Would you shut up, you idiot?" Rianna whispers to Galder, glaring at him.

Oh, and just for the hell of it, she's going to try using Scan on the Osokan.

"I don't have to," Galder snarls back at Rianna. He looks back to the Osokan.

"Yeah, I kinda figured that it would be a bad idea to not cooperate with a bunch of suits. I'd rather not end up dying of old age in the courts for non-cooperation..."

He turns to S'Nar.

"So, routine questions, eh?"

I don't care what you planned, I specifically asked who was now physically going in at that point, and Takuan was not mentioned.

"Yes indeed. So, who are you, and what is your business here on Newhaven?"

"We are refugees from an asteroid mining facility that was attacked by pirates," Rand explains. "We went through your Bureau's interrogations because we forgot to claim the rights of a refugee, but oh well. We are gathering parts to make repairs to the facility."
