USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE III (DARK SIDE)- The Way Back

Started by Captain REX170 pages

Though, we're not interested in sales, just generators. 😉

Why are you all chickening out? Don't you guys want some action by now? We had a few pages of fun near the beginning, but after that it's been about 110 pages of politics. We need some fight!

Oh, and Ush? My ability to post is going to be shaky for the next week or so, possibly longer. Just wanted you to know that if I go a few days without showing up.

Don't blame them, Dak. It's not their fault that they are all tiny little girly cowards from the planet Wetpants, is it?

Galder's certainly with you. Hack everyone to pieces, he says. And everything too. Destroy the shield generators- it's the LAST thing anyone would be expecting.

I'm thinking the only way we'll be able to pull this off is by killing the people we're 'buying' the generator from.

Which is definitely fine by me.

We already have the Bureau on our tails anyway. As soon as the generator is loaded, they're nothing but talking witnesses. Silent witnesses are oh-so-much better, now that we've got no cover to lose.

No argument from me.

Everthing...everything.

That gives me an idea. Is there any way that Galder could obtain thermal detonators for the use of destroying evidence? Hack up and shoot up everyone who could be a witness or a pain in the ass, then blow up everything, like on Malastare. It would be fun, at least.

What are you intending to blow up?

Well, on Malastare, we blew up all the parts we didn't steal, right? That made them (the Jedi) confused as to what we had stolen. Same with moving parts that we grabbed accidentally.

You'd have to blow up most of the depot.

And then they'd look at the blown-up depot of shield generators and wonder...

"Hmm... are these guys getting louder or just stupider?"

Forget that then...

What about our ships? Obviously we'll need Xavier's for transporting the generator, but wouldn't they get our transponder codes for all of them if we take the generator then leave on our ships?

What's it matter if they figure we took a generator? Do the generators have transponders, too?

It's not like they actually know where we live. Causing a massive set of explosions would create enough havoc to save us from pursuit for a bit longer.

(breathes sigh of relief)

You know, I really thought you guys were going to forget that.

I'm pretty sure that even if we destroy the rest of the generators, someone at some point will see us with it...they're not quite inconspicuous and we will need to get it to the ships and loaded.

But if it keeps them distracted for a while....I'm all for that idea. Distractions are always a good thing.

Galder has the vital point.

If they get your transponder codes, then even if you get away, your ships can never safely enter the Republic again.

You guys went to a lot of trouble to fake the destruction of your ships and get new codes last storyline. You now have neither spare ships nor new codes to use.

I've been keeping it in mind the entire time. I wanted to send off at least Tanic's ship before we made the grab (or had suspicious Bureau folks) but so much for that. No doubt they'll make the lock if we send it away, now.

Now I know how Lana feels most of the time...oh well.

And then there's Galder's ship, which we are giving as payment. Since we're killing the guys, Galder would like to make sure that they don't put it inside of something, so that he can just send it into orbit (or Tanic pilots it away, stealing it back, since he was going to be on it when we give it to them).

Also, how are we getting the generator from the depot to Xavier's ship? It would be obvious if we just kinda drove it from the depot to our ships.

Just for clarification, what good exactly are the transponders to us? So far, all I've seen them do is cause us grief...

Because the Bureau search any ship without a valid transponder code by default.

And yup, that's kinda obvious indeed, but it's hard to see an alternative.

Damn, how did so many posts get in between the one I was replying to and mine? Now mine looks stupid.....it was supposed to be in reply to Dak's post.

And I do believe I've mentioned the transponder thing before.....

Now I know how Lana feels most of the time...oh well.

😂 yeah I'm sure you do.....

Also, the depot doesn't have any ships for interplanetary delivery? Even if what they have was only expected to be used for on-planet transactions, are they capable of space flight?
