Alright, here it goes:
The Osokans work best when en masse, working well as a team. As exampled by our attempt on Helkin's life- though we succeeded- the fact that we ran in as one group gave the Osokans the advantage, regardless of surprise attack or not. Ush said we could have gone in from different angles, or attacked in separate groups. That way, we would not have been surrounded as easily.
Same basics here- we are splitting our groups evenly, giving each group two heavy fighters (one of which will be high with Intrusion), an Illusionist, and then one other. Seeing as Tanic is in the ship, that leaves an even eight.
Group One - Galder, Rand, Takuan, Dak
Group One is going to head for the generator, seeing as Takuan was the one who spoke with the criminals, Galder is needed for driving the transport with the generator on it, and...well...Dak makes good bait for Rogan.
Group Two - Rianna, Xavier, Xorn, Gallador
Group Two is off to find the transmitter, meaning that Xavier doesn't need to find a way out of the starport and that Rianna and Xavier and Xorn can go back. I would have sent Galder on this one, since he is our best fighter, but we need his driving abilities.
At this point, unless we can come up with a way to ditch Rogan and his flunkies, we are expecting to be fighting Osokans quite soon.
So...
While I hope that Rogan follows the others back to the starport, and Rianna hopes that Rogan follows us to the warehouse, we don't really have anything to change whatever choice he makes. Up the gamemaster. 😉
In any case, our goal is to cause the Osokan party to split, so that we have less to fight.
Group One will head for the generator, wipe out our criminal friends, and then, once we are ready to get the generator to the starport, Rand will give Group Two the signal of "Now," to commence their attack on the transmitter. Until then, Group Two needs to figure out where the transmitter is, and the best way to take it out. I suggested that Rianna tries something sneaky while the others try a direct assault, so that Rianna ambushes from behind or gets the job done while the others keep the Osokans/Dugs/Officers at bay.
For Group One, try to keep the fight at the warehouse quick and easy with the criminals. We don't want to get too hurt, seeing as we don't have healing powers like the Jedi, or decent Medicine scores.
For Group Two, don't attack prematurely! This could trigger an attack on us.
So, at this point, Rianna can split off from the criminal group and join up with Gallador and Xorn, and head back to the starport, hopefully snaring a few of our Osokan stalkers with us.
Have I forgotten anything, Lana?
