USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE III (DARK SIDE)- The Way Back

Ok, let's catch up on what Dak was doing.

He leads off with a +10 for a spectacular hit, then -3 is a miss, -3 is also a miss, and then evens at one behind you is a miss due to a lack of Total Cover.

His second go is +1 for a hit and a kill on that one he hit before, +7 for another hit. -1 misses due to no Total Cover again, and then +1 is just a hit.

A +3 on Galder's acrobatics roll sees him jump clear of his assailants.

"You see," says Rogan, watching him, "as I said, you fight like children. You know nothing of the ways of the Hunt. Have you never seen a Raptor take down a Sauropod?"

He makes a blow at Gallador that can hardly miss, although rolling a -4 he was trying to it seems- distracted talking to Galder perhaps.

+2 from the Captain attacking Dak is a 15 and a hit! The neural effects of the whip are starting to bite as a numbness spreads through you.

Rand stays all clear.

Gallador takes another hit on the ground from Hunters. Takuan, dodging all attacks, stays clear.

Rand rolls evens on a Throw, which boosts up to 15; a hit. That's five damage. Rand ends up with a bit of burn but it could have been far worse.

Meanwhile, Rianna and Xorn are running like hell through the market, now with two dozen Dug gunmen firing at them, Osokans at their tails. A good move might be needed.

Also meanwhile, Xavier is still climbing, and still needs to think of a good ruse lest someone work out what he is doing!

I will think of one once I'm back from work....

Gallador will try to land one more Strike on Rogan, though he considers running at this point.

Edit- first I try to stand up, of course.

No worries, you are already standing- that was represented by frame loss.

So last two Frames on Strike on Rogan, since he is the target of Hatred.

He has Combat of 15, right?

Neurowhip of 15 in fact, but yes.

So, if two of the eight are dead from being shot, Tanic will then snap an attack one opponent and then perform a normal attack at another.

Then, Defend for defence.

Just killed an extra Osokan there- forgot about Dak's re-rolls.

Tanic, frankly, these guys have no chance. The ship is yours.

Ush, can I use Lucky Merit to reroll attack on Rogan?

Yes.

However, even with a +2 from Emotions, your finasl roll adjustment would be -2, as currently you have 2 impairment from neurodamage, one from damage, and another one courtesy of Rand.

Which means you would need to roll a +7 to hit Roagn if he parries. It's not good odds.

Wooo!

Oh, yeah, well the plan was to Strike to Subdue the last one. Ask him where we are, then kill him. 😄 Thanks!

"Pfft, I don't care about your stupid lizards," Galder shouts.

Galder will sacrifice player privilege to Defend, unless since he jumped away, he can lure some Osokans after him by moving away another frame.

Gallador, you're about to go to 57 damage, just so you know. That killed Rand.

Rand shudders a little as the burning shoots through his arm and then dissipates, and Defends himself with his lightsabers flailing about him, battering away his attackers' whips.

(putting me a frame in debt)

Luckily, as the GSG says, Neuro damage maxes out at 35.

57 damage is a lot....heh.

Okay, I'm assuming there's all sorts of big branches that I can run around on, could I jump to another one to try and get a bit further from the Osokans?

Well now, you can try, but you have absolutely no idea of their orientation like you might have done if, for example, you had checked an escape route in advance.

Damnit.

Well, this wasn't exactly what I had been planning to do in the first place.....

Never a good idea to think you won't need a way out. It's this concept of planning criminal enterprise that I am trying to get you guys into.

what if we messed em' up by turning around and leaping over them? or ar ethey too far away? and Rianna do you have Flying Charge?

Yes, well, we know how far ahead I generally think....

Leaping over them not a good idea as they can get attacks on us as we do that, and it won't let us get by any faster or anything.

And sadly, I don't have Flying Charge. I really wish I did, as there's so many times I could really have used it....
