USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE III (DARK SIDE)- The Way Back

You cannot snap a Strike, Gallador!

Yeah, don't say anything, Tanic...just kill them.

So super-snapped normal attacks will be more efficient than Strikes in burning Force? But it won`t be easy to hit Rogan....

No I mean - are two dead from the gunshots?

I mean, they were fired before speaking.

You don't need to snap a Strike, Gallador. With your level in Carnival of Carnage, it only costs one frame. It'll be useful for blowing Force.

But one Frame only if I attack a Mook, right? Hatred on Hunter, than.

Yeah, only if you attack a mook. Strike is useful to reducing frame cost when attacking Named Characters, like Captains and Rogan.

Err, no, look guys, Strike clearly defines itself as an attack that takes two frames.

As force powers cannot be snapped, that's not going to change.

Edit

Damm it. So I can only burn half Force with 7 Frames left?

Do what Rand's doing. Attempt to disarm them.

I don`t have Kinetic Powers.

Ush, in this case just Hatred on Rogan and three Strikes to burn all 12 Force.

Ok, Rand makes a very spread out Combat Push. One of his rolls is a +4, though, and the use of Emotions makes it pretty solid.

It is, however, a complete waste of time. Those leather gauntlets these Osokans are wearing are in fact known as Martingales. Their neruowhips are securely fixed to the gauntlets and they cannot be disarmed.

"Think no-one has tried that on us before?" says the Captain, with a grin.

These guys are leaning.

-1 from Galder is a hit and a kill. At Rogan's beckoning, one of the ones attacking Takuan fills the gap.

I'll let you declare Hatred as Rand did, Gallador, but it's really not appropriate- please do play by the rules, guys.

Rogan makes a Parry agains your attack, Gallador, and even a +4 from you cannot match that, especially with a point of impairment and another from Rand.

Rogan then intiiates a Trip. Unable as you are to take defensive actions, Gallador, his evens for 15 is a hit- and also does you three damage. You are sent Prone and miss 3 frames.

I'll wait on Dak and Takuan for a little while. Give you guys time to think. Rogan has more or less betaen Gallador already.

Well this supremely sucks. A perfect plan from me and Rex, and you have to start the battle when I'm not even at my house, Ush!

Dak will snap two attacks at two already injured Osokans, with Defend for Defense.

Agh, what are you doing?! 😖

Ush, forget the last post.

Instead, make that a Spin targeting four Osokans, and then another over again. And Defend for Defense, of course.

Galder will Defend for defense.

Ugh, how could we be so stupid? AGAIN?

We need to spread out! We let them encircle us again!

...

Galder will Defensive Leap his way out of the circle.

"Rogan, are you so weak as to go for our less competent fighters?" Galder asks, laughing at him as he leaps backwards out of the circle as Osokans crack their whips at him. "Pathetic. Surely on a hunt, you want a thrilling battle. Well, here I am! You wanted a fight, and I'll give you a damned good one, you porkchop sandwiche! I defy Lanzar's powerful warrior king to attack his greatest foe yet!"

Other than Galder, it seems we will have to fight our ways out of the circle.

For now...Rand will Defend against incoming attacks, then, after the attacks, Rand will use Throw against one of the injured Osokans, hurling the Osokan that Galder dropped at it, blowing as much extra Force pool as I can in that attack.
