USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE III (DARK SIDE)- The Way Back

Not quite, but the plan is solid.

Galder floors it as he reaches the starport's blockade, intending to run down anyone who dares to stand in its path.

"Out of the way you idiots!" Galder shouts. If he can, he will gun down a few Dugs with his arm blaster while he drives the transport, unless it is too difficult for him, with his pilot score being where it is.

Rand, start using Throw or Combat Push flatten or at least disarm Dugs.

Rianna, start using Combat Push to knock down or disarm Dugs, or Saber Throw to cut down a few.

Xorn, take out your blaster and blaze away!

Dak and Gallador...um...keep being paralyzed. 😄

Everyone happy with that plan?

Sounds good to me.

"You guys are doing a great job." Rianna comments sarcastically, while using the Force to try and knock down or disarm two Dugs (Combat Push on two of them).

"Don't distract the driver, honey!" Galder shouts back to her as he's flooring and shooting.

Rand begins flinging about Dugs with Combat Push and crushing them with available objects with Throw.

"Hmm, something's not right," Rand thinks to himself, having seen Rogan smile as he released them.

(btw, Ush, are we going to have to check for the tracking devices ourselves, not knowing ahead of time?)

I am afraid the idea hasn't occurred to you so you aren't checking.

Good to see that enough of you have a ranged capacity to get you though this one. As Galder drives on, you guys C-Push and Throw and fire back; these Dug militia guys have a fighting value of six and they don't last very long- they are certainly not able to stop you getting inside.

Now you just have to load this damn thing aboard, and you suspect that the dock workers are not going to be minded to use the loading equipment to do that out of simple charity. No sign of Tanic either. Hmmm...

Meanwhile, Tanic begins to draw near the transmitter and then finds out the hard way, as mentioned earlier, that that building is full of anti-air defecnes. Two missiles launch at you immediately.

Where are they coming from - the top, or downwards?
Also, does Tanic know if they're heat-seeking or not?

Underneath. And one way or another, they home.

Your shields are up (I hope!) so they can't blow you to pieces in one go... mind you, that heavy ground fire coming your way might do something about that...

This is going to be tricky!

Okay... So, they're coming from the ground, and there's ground fire too.

Are there any anti-air defences on the top of the tower?

(Try a barrel roll if that's possible, or even try a maneuver around the transmitter and make them hit that 😛 )

As soon as the transport pulls into the docking bay where Xavier's ship is located, Rand hops off with his lightsaber ignited and he marches stiffly and menacingly towards the dock workers. Using Empathy, he finds the 'leader' of the dock workers and puts him in a Grip.

"You and your workers are going to load the generator onto the ship, or I'm going to strip all the flesh from each of your bodies!" Rand shouts, as the man gasps for air.

(That should do the trick; after the +3 bonus from Grip and +2 bonus from Authority, that puts my Intimidation skill up to 18...)

Galder will rush into Xavier's ship and find Trax.

"Time to go!" Galder alerts him. "Xavier's not going on his own ship, uh, yeah, as soon as the generator's on and whoever your passengers are going to be are on, take off. Open the doors to the loading bay."

"And check all systems, in case we've got stowaways or bombs or something stupid like that..."

(I think Galder would have made it a precaution after good old goddamn Citadel...)

Galder comes out of the ship and sees if there is anything he needs to do to help load the generator that Trax is not already doing.

(Who's riding where, since we're almost in the clear- or so we'd like to hope? Galder is going to pilot Tanic's ship, maybe the rest of you can load the generator and stay with Trax on Xavier's ship?)

(And don't you dare blow my ship up, Tanic!)

Was my plan 😛

I think Rand can handel that in his sleep... so consider it done.

Tanic- what's your Pilot skill?

No defences atop the trasnmitter itself, but plenty around- if you remember, an air strike on it was ruled out for this very reason.

Tanic's Pilot skill = 13.

Not bad!

Dug security and then the Bureau turning up at the loading bay. Plan?

If Xavier's and Tanic's ships have anti-personnel blasters like mine, Galder will quickly activate the ones on Tanic's ship and Trax can deal with Xavier's.

If not...um...how many foes?

Dozens.

Ok, well, that means splitting effort away from loading and onto messing around with ships... and meanwhile, who is going to fly what?

Trax's got Xavier's ship. I've got Tanic's. Tanic's got mine.

The New Beginning, the Shadow Blade, and the Conquering Paladin of Hoth respectively.

Well, we could just activate the cannons on only Tanic's, leaving the loading business on Xavier's ship.

So, yeah, Galder wants to get Tanic's ship ready and fire off its guns for a moment before checking all systems as a precaution.

Rand wants to keep near the workers to ensure that they finish their job, but will use Throw and Combat Push to crush, bowl over, flatten any Dugs or Bureau men who enter the area. If the Dugs move to branches above us, Rand will use Bash to break them so that they fall to their deaths.
