Oh, one other thing. Cover story. If we're going in staggered, then who goes first, and what are our storys going to be?
If we don't have some common link, then it would be weird if we start hanging about on the planet so blatantly as a group.

It is indeed the landing order and cover story I need before I proceed.

Ooooh yeah. Hmmm....coming up with cover stories isn't really my strong point, but I'll see if I can think of anything....

However, I think Galder and Takuan should land first, because Takuan's the best in the group with talking people into things. He could give whatever story we come up with and say that we're all associates and we're all supposed to meet but because of delays the rest of us will be arriving a little late.

Of course, that sort of stops the point of staggering landings, doesn't it?

Bear in mind that he can't Mind Trick a guard into passing all of you if you arrive seperately.

Well, what I posted would still allow for staggered landings, I said that the rest of us would be arriving later.

Hmmm....true. I didn't think of that. Gallador or Rand could Mind Trick a guard into passing those of us on Tanic's ship, but there's no one on Xavier's ship that would be able to do it.

Merchants from where? Ushgarak, is there a world in this part of Outer Rim, outside the Republic, a poor but more civilized than Epireus, that could send someone to purchase shield generator?

There aren't actually any civilised worlds in your area of space.

So we can`t reasonably pose as merchants from outside Republic?

Actually, I think there are too many of us going, it makes covert mission more difficult. Shouldn`t few of us stay behind and try to prepare an Epirean army for those Pirates?

But the plan is to force those Pirates to land. Would we be able to stop them then without large number of Epireans?

You don't know, but none of it is worth a damn if you don't get this mission sorted, whilst getting the Epireans together will be no effort at all.

Well, for a cover story I was thinking of something along the lines that we're merchants, but our headquarters (or whatever the hell you want to call it) was attacked by pirates recently and we're looking into purchasing a shield generator to help defend against any future attacks.

Well a cover story for who ever Rianna is with is that they are recently married and they wanted to be close to the Outer Rim for their honeymoon. The also wanted to see the Giant trees of Newhaven so thet decided to knock off two birds with one stone.

I think all of us should stick to the same cover story.

Plus Rianna would be likely to kill someone 😛

I think that story would do quite well...unless Ush debunks it, of course.

mechants from outside the republic works just fine. there aren't any civilised worlds in OUR sector....but they don't know where we're coming from. there have to be some merchants outside the republic..doh.
and thay we've been attacked by pirates is a nice touch. but we shouldn't say we're here to purchase a shield.....we're just fleeing to the first civilised world in our way..newhaven.
besides..they don't need to know that much
