USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE III (DARK SIDE)- The Way Back

Well, looks like things are coming together then! If someone can give me a finalised list of who is where and saying what, that'd be nice.

Takuan and Galder are on Galder's ship. Rand, Rianna, and Tanic are on Tanic's ship. Gallador is on Xavier's ship (as well as the rest of the new guys, assuming that they show up anytime soon).

Leave the talking to those with good Lying scores -- Takuan, Rand, Gallador, and Tanic. Also, if need be, we can use Mind Tricks (though I think it'd be best if we didn't unless absolutely necessary).

Story is thus: We're merchants, our base was attacked by pirates and a good deal of it was destroyed, we managed to escape. Our papers were among the things destroyed in the attack so we don't have those.

So right now we are landing at the same time are we.
Our base was attacked by Pirates we are here to pick up spare parts to fix it. We escaped in the nick of time thank goodness our shields lasted till we were able to go to hyperspace. Newhaven was the closet place to our position under republic control. We didn't have time to grab our papers/Id (whatever) so we do not have them.
That is roughly our story so far. Now do we want to mention that we want to look for a shield generator or no.

I think it'd be best to not mention that right now.

I agree with you miss Rianna.

Anything simplistic enough for Galder to understand will probably work just fine.

And if anyone pushes us, we push back. No one needs to know anything more than that.

that works just fine..except......they'll figure we come from the same place...so i don't see why we're sepparated at all 🙂

In this case being separated doesn`t make sense at all.

So does everyone feel the story I made up on top is good or any changes if not then let's get this party started.

I think we can proceed with this plan, and we shouldn`t mention shield generator as our main objective.

One more thing, Ush, can we come up with reasonable location for our small base? I assume it shouldn`t be too close to Newhaven.

I think Takuan and Gallador should do most talking.

I actually had an idea for where our base could be. I was thinking we could say that is a small mining base in an asteriod field just outside the Republic. We were hired by a small private investor to work there. (Since it is privatley owned then it won't show up on any of there files). Anyway we thought that since we were samll and in an asteriod field that we would be safe from attacks but we think that the piraes must have intercepted a transmission that is how they found us.
Would that work Ush.

If there's an asteroid field anywhere around here, then that could possibly work.....

Time is almost up!

I say we stick with this one:

We're merchants, our base was attacked by pirates and a good deal of it was destroyed, we managed to escape. Our papers were among the things destroyed in the attack so we don't have those.

It's simple and to the point, and believable.

I agree with Rianna i only suggested the asteroid story if they ask where our base is located.

Hah! As if Galder would explain these things.

GUY: Where is your base at?
GALDER: Go **** yourself!

We don't need to explain anything that they don't need to know. If they need a good background story for why we want a generator, good for them, we were attacked by pirates. If they want to know where our papers are, too bad, they were destroyed. If they want to know my birthday, Galactic ATM pin number, and where my base is located, they can find out how many seconds it takes to die from a bastic warhead to the ass.

Which is why Galder will not say anything! 😛

But yeah, we really don't NEED to explain out everything, I don't think.

(and damn you for editing while I post!)

That wasn't my point. 😛

I understand what your saying Galder but asking where a base is at can be a standard question so we need to be ready to answer. I do aree though that anything that is not thier buisness should not be addressed unless we must.

Yup! And I highly doubt that people routinely ask about secret lairs.

GUY: Hey, so...where'd you say your secret base was?
GALDER: Um...does it matter?
GUY: ...Yes.
GALDER: Dammit!
