Ush, I am thinking about finding some lower level criminal and getting information about criminal underground from him through Subterfuge, Intimidation or Mind Tricks.

I'll explore the Star-Port is there any Security cameras?

so our main chance is connecting with the underworld, as i see it.
it would have been nice to go see the market areas first, but if security is as tight as described..it won't do as much of a good.

That's a team decision, Dark. You can break out, or you can wait for your buddies to find a way out for you. Not that that is going very well. Anyone else want to throw suggestions in?

Takuan and Gallador, you have ended up inside quite a large, but dingy, bar, not far form the centre of the tourist area. Judging by the variety of aliens around, this is quite the hub. Dodgy sorts all around you! Now, what exactly are you going to try and find out from here?

Gallador looks around using Scan, Emphathy and mundane observation skills. We are looking for someone who lookes like he could know stuff. Maybe bartender? In places like those, bar owners tend to stay informed
and have various connections.

The Bartender is always a good place to start. Just to fit the role, he is cleaning glasses. What will you ask him?

Now, we need some explanation for our activities. I wonder if it would be enough just to pretend that we are looking for illegal stuff and we will reveal more to someone higher in the web of crime.

Gallador tries to make a following impression: a dangerous, slightly arrogant but careful person, who seems to posess a small amount of power, maybe more that he shows outright. He smiles enigmaticely, greets the bartender and takes one of the better and more alkoholic drinks.

"It seems that your business is prospering well, and your clients form an interesting group. They don't seem to be mostly tourists."

Also, Ush, can we come up with a name of a world that is less civilzed than Newhaven, but enough to have some organized crime, and close enough so we could logically choose this world as a destination? Does Takuan, Tanic or Rand know of any lesser criminal organization that could make a suitable cover?

i don't think we need to explain ourselves too much with these type of people....the more mysterious we appear, the more they'll think we're serious.

You better not talk at the same time as Gallador, Takuan. Menacing people don't start by asking direct questions. Though I assume Takuan has more experience with those kind, Gallador has some experience, but despised such scum as a Jedi.
Of course Gallador acts as a leader, he will never defer to Takuan, and Takuan's awesome potential and power he achieved without complete training makes Gallador mad. He tries to hide his feelings, but such master of Empathy as Takuan can likely sense something.

Rand will join Gallador and Takuan. On his way there, he contacts Galder via comlink, if possible.

"'Red,' get out of there if you can," Rand says. "Unless you wish to wait..."

"So, your almighty plan didn't work, eh? Nice going." Galder sighs. "We'll see..."
