say that it was a misunderstanding and I am a....ugh...Rands assistant or something....because I could of lied my way in...damn me being late...

Your man impatiently tells you of the main marketting areas, Takuan. However, he adds:

"But for anything big, I hope you have a registered traders id, because they don't just sell serious military hardware to people who walk in from the street."

Nah, they won't listen to that kind of thing now, Xorn, I am afraid. You would have to use an entirely different tack to lie your way through.

Gallador explores the streets on his own, Ush, he tries to look for the ship parts, he will find a street urchin who looks knowledgeable and ask him questions in echange for small amount of money.

"well ofcourse we do!"
says takuan departing.
we have some locations we can begin searchin in, now

Good. We should start checking out those. Remember, spare parts and shield generators! 😄

Meanwhile, in my futile attempts to break out our friends the violent swordsmen...I must note that there are now four of them... *cries*

"Sir, I must state that we intend to work here," Rand says. "Pick up a new profession, of sorts. Surely our friends are allowed to work with us?"

You go Rand

(actually, it's still only 3 violent swordsmen....Xorn's a type A, I believe 😛)

Damn, he is?

Yep, I just checked.

yep I was an honorable Jedi ...Until I slaughtered my master and a few otehr jedi.... 😄 !!!

You can be Dark Jedi with honor too.

Ok, Gallador is off getting the word on the street! However, evens on his Savoir-Faire roll is a 9, and not fantastic, and finding anyone particularly knowledgeable eludes you.

You don't get any hot leads, but you do learn that a number of private organisations and planets buy heacy duty hardware like shield generators from Newhaven; the depot for them is not far from the starport, for easier transportation. However, they are not retail vendors, they don't have a shop as such.

"Your permits are being offered to buy supplies, not immigrate here," he says, Rand.

Maybe I should offer my fist to buy you a new jaw... Galder thinks as he stands nearby.

Okay Ush, Gallador will now look for generators that are in use on this planet. His tactic at first is to find as much general imformation as possible, than expand on what options look most promising. He is trying to act subtly. What about trying to get in touch with local criminals?. Could he pretend he works for Hutts or some smaller criminal organization? Maybe Tanic or Takuan could help?

Rand wishes to try his hand at a Savoir-Faire roll.

"Well, we will need their help getting these things!" Rand says. "They are quite knowledgable of what we need."

It must be said, Galder, you are getting exceptionally tetchy with all this waiting.

Music- Mynock Cave

(as you explore around Newhaven that plays)

Information on the generators in use is not hard to find. They have been constructed at the centre of each city and are under constant guard. You would have to launch a full assault to get them and you are pretty sure they have a rapid response fighter force ready as well for such an eventuality- they have lived with these pirates near for too long.

Savoir-Faire can get you in touch with the underworld- but you are a looooooooooong way from Hutt space. Out this far it will be local interets and an inevitable touch of the Serpent.

Didn't Doon keep some kind of useful data in his base? And isn't the Serpent now only the shadow of former self?

Well, while we're waiting, just in case Rand can't bail us out, Galder wishes to do some exploring of the spaceport that we have been detained in. We're only prisoners inside the spaceport, right? We're not confined to small rooms, are we?

Nothing useful at all. And no, the Serpent is carrying on much as it ever did. They have a new leadership already, you understand.

And no, you aren't prisoners, Galder, and like a modern day international airport, this place is actually very big.

How about the air vents?
