USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE III (DARK SIDE)- The Way Back

mind trick has it's limits, rex...if succesful, we'd only be inconvenienced when we return...seeign as you're not officially legally out, and only by a trick

Time is passing- that's a serious issue, as the countdown before the pirates reach your base continues.

By this time, Takuan and Gallador are ready to go back to the bar to meet their new contact.

Any other immediate plans?

Galder wants to see if there are any other security measures that would be likely to get them caught, perhaps by checking a computer terminal?

The manner of them is not important. A good intrusion roll will handle them, a bad one won't.

damn.......I have crap intrusion......

Me to so does Rex's Character infact the only one here with a good intrusion score is Lana

maybe she could sneak out and subdue the quards quietly.........

Then what would happen when the guards came to or they went missing we still have to get back through the Starport to get off the planet.

they wouldn't know she did it and we COULd beat the hell out of everyone on the way to the ship.

Tanic is going to inquire about hi-tech military parts, in an attempt to find the warehouses in which they are stored. He'll go cruising in a bar, starting with the barman, or woman.

heh..you'll soon see that it doesn't work that way

If you bring the Osokans down on us, Xorn, you'll find that Galder is not very nice to new people of the group...

I sense a distinct lack of motion here...

If ANYONE wants to think of a decent way for Rand to put his law skill into effect, please do so. I already gave the criteria... err... ages back.

Meanwhile, Takuan and Gallador- still ready to go with you whenever you want!

Tanic, are you talking about finding how to get them legitimately, or otherwise? Takuan has already been scouting out for spares, of course.

my idea on how rand is supposed to use his law:
they agreed to let us in here in order to fulfil our purpose, namely acquiring the parts we need, and the get out.
what we must use here..is the fact that our goal fulfilment on this planet is obstructed by us not being in full force. there have to be all of us out there for maximum efficiency. we might not even be able to complete the gathering witrhout all of us doing their parts.

a damn shame about us not thinking of asylum when we could....that would have been best by far.

as for meeting the guy..i'm ready when you are

Actually, I like that idea, Dexx.

"Look, sir," Rand says. "To fulfill our goal, we need to be all together. You agreed to let us onto the planet to do our intended things, namely acquiring parts, and then we leave. But, if we are not all together, this is obstructed; we will never be able to leave with our goals finished if you do not allow our friends clearance, meaning we won't be able to leave."

"As you said, we are allowed to finish our goal before we leave..."

Immigration wants you to justify why you need all of them for that? Their evaluation showed that you only needed the ones they let through.

labour force, ofcourse..

That's not a necessary requirement; you can hire machines or people for that.

maybe we are th eones that know what certain machines and parts we need....so yeah that miht work.....maybe I am new at this.....

This is where it went wrong at interview (and I appreciate you weren't playing at that point, but that's just a difficulty you will have to live with)- those confined to the starport failed to convince the Bureau that they had any such expertise at all. Everyone who did so convince them, they let out (even though they did not want to).
