Frankly, Takuan, you haven't put them in the kind of mood to agree to something like that.
The mass extinction of all life on Newhaven (wayyyyyyy before it was called Newhaven) is generally considered to be down to an unusual cosmic event- a sudden burst of interstellar radiation, tens of thousands of years ago. It's interesting but it's not relevant.
Frankly, Rianna, once you leave the major buildings, it ALL looks like your dream- endless forests of tall petrified trees. You can even see Dugs 'running' along the branches right now.
But in general, no, none of you have heard of a Rogan before, and some social questioning of others gets you no answers.

Not forgetting Lucky is a good idea- people did last game. Do say if you really want to make the re-roll."It's not my responsiblity to get you a look at it," he says. "Only the quartermasters at the depots can do that, and we might possibly have some influence over one or two of them. But they won't do a damn thing without money up front. A bunch of strangers will make them nervous."
They appreciate the drink though, Gallador.
Did just I fell any roll? If so, yes.
Ush, Gallador tries to get them drink more, motioning for Takuan to stop negotiating for now.
He will try to socialize with them more, though propably Takuan is better at dealing with criminal scum.
Well, very well! Gallador uses a Luck re-roll, and I haven't the heart to let that go to waste, valuable as they are.
In that case, yes, they are very much more at their ease. These are very social criminals, very different to the Serpent (without interstellar competition they probably don't have to be as vicious). Also, they are happier with the Languages roll you made.
Any direction you wanted to steer the conversation?
Well, Takuan already brought business to the forefront of the conversation, so it is hard to get away from that and then get back.
"Oh, don't worry about them. Those Bureau guys don't give a damn about internal affairs. The only way they make it hard for us is by making it awkward for us to bring in desperate no-money losers from out the Republic to work for us, but you just have to know how to play the system.
"If you want to shift heavy gear out of the Republic they would take notice but so what? You'll be long gone before they know. Local security does all the policing work around here and they are rubbish. The Bureau just watches the starport and looks out for either immigrants or people with known criminal records coming here."
