HAHAHAHAHA! 😆 😆 😆

Are you serious!?!

Honestly WTF dude!?!

How the **** did Hayden get on that list? And Natalie?!?!!! I think someone loves Star Wars a little too much. You are seriously deluded...

How's that? 😬

I've said it before and I'll say it again: Box Office numbers have absolutely to relationship to how good a film is... Do you really think Titanic is the best film ever? 🙄

Did George f*ck up on his Original SW Movies? Nope.

Did they f*ck up the original Batman? Duh!

Anyone can see the previous Batman movies sucked.

Natalie Portman has incredible acting....But Hayden...Well maybe not so much.

Batman is a franchise, controlled by a studio. Schumacher f*cked the last two up. Star Wars is completely controlled by George Lucas which is why it is able to maintain some consistency... and actually, yes some would argue that he did f*ck his last two up as well.

But that's beside the point, the debate is whether Batman Begins is better than Star Wars - Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. Not whether the Batman franchise is better than the Star Wars saga...

I'm not arguing about the previous films - the last two Batman's did suck, and so did the last Star Wars (granted, not as much).

As for Natalie Portman's acting abilities - she proved herself worthy to me in Closer, but in Episode III they might as well have replaced her with a log. She was AWFUL! Even Hayden was better than her in this film! If you can't see that, we must have watched different films...

Natalie was the worst thing about Episode III i thought Hayden improved greatly in 3. Natalie couldn't even hold the small role she was given in ROTS.

I hated the past three Star Wars! Natalie is a good actress, though, but not for this part, and I f***ing HATE Hayden!!! (not a bod six pack though). The original Star Wars were very good.

But BATMAN BEGINS was an amzing movie, plus it's from the same director as Memento, which is one of the best movies of recent history.
The past 3 SW SUCKED ASS!!

You are speaking of two different franchises in a way that the current film is not related to the previous films and the only connection is the fact that both carry the name "Batman". Thus, whether or not the original films that were released based on the character are liked or disliked by you or anyone else is beside the point in this current discussion. The title of the thread reads "Episode III or Batman Begins?" and not "Did the Old Batman Movies Suck?".

Let me tackle this because I have a certain connection here with being a fan. Did Burton ruined Batman 1989 and Batman Returns? No, he did not. He created his OWN version of the cape crusader. Whether you like it or hate it is a matter of choice and opinion. Now, did the sequels to Batman 1989 and Batman Returns (i.e. Batman Forever and Batman & Robin) were Terrible? Yes, But certain fans (including yours truly) did find those two latter films entertaining despite the god-awful flaws.

Here comes the obvious argument and somewhat trivial...fans of SW whom think the New Trilogy is great are just as identical and similar to the Batman fans who find Batman Forever and Batman & Robin great. Despite my huge dislike towards the new SW trilogy I cannot say those films are terrible. Why? because I find Batman Forever and Batman & Robin quite entertaining despite the fact that those films suck. See, here comes what is called the term "Fanboy". I'm quite guilty of being a Batman fanboy. And I do admit that the two Batman Films after Burton were terrible...but hey! I like them! See, this is something a few SW fans won't admit because of their fanboy delusion...and that is that the new SW trilogy just sucks.

I agree with you, I myself are one person who also I would kill Schumacher if I ever saw him on the streets I can't hate the movies.....same for SW, but I realize that both Batman Forever-Batman & Robin and SW PT were very flawed and sucky......
on the other hand I see that Batman Begins was one of the better movies in the last few years which I truly csan't say of ROTS...yes it was Star Wars and I love it like a parent loves his less intelligent kid...but I see that it is not the best....granted it is Star Wars and just for that I have to like it but compared to really great movies it just doesn't do it.

i don't know i did actually like ROTS as a movie even though the acting as a whole wasn't that great there were still a few very decent individual performances.

Closer? Oh my god.... I am guessing her acting was good being with the fact that you were delusionized by her **** and ass while she swung around a pole with pink hair...... Closer was a drama movie. The acting scheme is differential to Episode III. And besides the point, she still acted freaking good.

Episode III is better than Batman Begins. I am one who thinks this, and shown by the polls, there is Majority, whether it counts or not.

I just wish I didn't vote when the poll was messed up. I believe I gave SW the nod over "BB sucks" or whatever it said. I would have given it to BB if the poll was not shitty at first so you can imagine one of those SW votes going to BB.

No she didn't.

It wasn't her type of performance, I say!

Having 3 votes more is no majority, especially when there are old votes that can't be accounted for, WD's dellusional fanboys, and few other factors.

Natalie Portman's performances in the PT are on par with Sam Jacksons. She's like rigor mortis personified.

I like that:
