Fingers crossed for a new job. Just filled out an application to Ingram Books where I'd be making $11.65 an hour to do an easy position.
Without a computer for this past month I think I've grown away from KMC enough to where I might just phase out, maybe get an actual life.

No word on the $11.65 an hour job, but I just got a job somewhere else for $8.50 an hour, not that great but it'll work. If I get a call from the other place, though, I'll obviously take that one instead.

Yeah, job orientation was today. 20 people crammed into a tiny room as we all get information on what we will be doing as of tomorrow. Turns out it's an electronics repair warehouse. When things break and they are under warranty, you send them to the company you bought it from, and they send it to us. X-Box, LG, HP, Philips, Polaroid, etc. etc. I'm starting off as a printer tester, but will be trained in how to repair the items as well.
360!!! Mine is on the fritz (finally), because of the "brick" having a stripped cord. Gonna get a new one from eBay, so that should hopefully settle it down and I won't get the Rings of Death again. I've been busy with Guitar Hero III for Wii, hoping to get Rock Band after Christmas (or during Crimbo...depends on if anyone buys it for me. 😛)

Yeeaaah definitely try and find one of those things on ebay, they cost like $100 new...stupidly expensive.
Good luck on finding Rock Band, we heard (and this was from the head of Harmonix) that once the initial shipments sell out, that it'll probably be March before there's more of them ready for sale. Sheesh. GHIII is fun though 😄

Damn!!! I guess I could hold out until March for RB just in case. What I really hope right now is that Red Octane will bring the other GH games to the Wii. I love GHIII, but I want more songs. Give me 1 and 2 and Rock the 80's, let me put my guitar to use!
$100 new is WAAAAY too much for me. Especially for a 2 year old XBox. I'm sure there will be at least one on eBay used.

Heh, that'd be neat. I kinda wish I had held off on getting GHIII - I got it for the PS2. Now I'm debating trading it in and getting it for the 360...though then I'd have to rebeat everything. Bleh.
Yeah, it's expensive. I'm on the lookout for a used wireless adapter myself, no way I'm paying $100 for that. That's half of what I paid for my 360! Sheesh...

Yeah, the PS2 version is okay (who really cares about the graphics in these games?) but the Achievement Points are what attracts the people to get the 360 version. Sucks that the Xbox has to be the wired guitar though. The Wii being wireless is damn good.
I just looked at the auctions for the power brick, the cost isn't too bad. Once I get caught up on bills then I'll get one. As of right now, with everything calculated out, I'll have about $50 from each paycheck left over to put in savings. WooHoo! Gonna get a new TV on the second paycheck...first is mainly for Christmas though.
Anyways, my time on the computer is running out, so I must take leave. 😛 See ya guys whenever I can get on again...probably Saturday when I'm off work.
