Comic Book Questions

I have a question, I hope asking it here is ok.

There is a new Thor comic to be released sometime in 2007, does anyone know exactly when that is set to come out?

Reason being is that I am canceling all my Ultimate Marvel subscriptions. They were good, but it is getting a bit boring to be honest. Also waiting for the new Ultimates issues to release is driving me insane, at this pace a 12 month subscription will take 3+ years to complete.

Tiring.

So basically I am thinking of picking up the Mighty Avengers and the new Thor, but I can't figure out when Thor comes out.

Can someone tell how did johnny blaze get hold of the spirit of vengence in the newer ghost Rider comic series or have'nt they establish that yet ?

Can Superman absorb other forms of Kinetic energy as well as solar radiation ? It would explain a LOT about his powers, i.e. why he seems to have a near limitless supply of energy. I've been told his Bio electrical field works a bit like a cross between Sebastian Shaw's and Bishops respective bodies but is far better at storing the kinetic energy ? Is there any truth to this ?

Far as I know the current explanation is all solar. The old explanation was the difference in gravity between here and Krypton. Though that didn't really explain anything except strength.

I knew a comic shop owner who had an interesting theory - Mxyzptlk is the dark side of Supes unconcious, his id so to speak. And the reason that Supes power seems so variable is that he only taps enough of his power to get the job done. It would explain why it is just as difficult for him to stop smaller objects as it is to stop larger ones.

But in a recent Suerman comic he was able to leach energy from volcanic material, and hes absorbed other non solar sources such as the Mahgeddon Warhead. It also wouldn't explain why the other Kryptoninans have powers on the same level as Supes. Kara, Zod, Doomsday and Super boy Prime come to mind. I do like the idea with the Krptonians have a connection with the 5th Dimension.

He doesn't store KE he takes SolarEnergy and converts it into a huge supply of PE.

Pressumably his cells can store a huge amount of PE. Basicly he is constantly charging while in sunlight and no energy leaks out. Thanks to this and the fact that he isn't fighting universal threats every second of everyday means his total energy supply could be virtually limitless.

Doomsday isn't technically a Kryptonian and SBP is insanely powerful because he comes from a 'dimension' where-in all 'charged' (Yellow sunlight) Kryptonians are insanely powerful. Or to put it simpler he's a pre-crisis character whereas the others are post.

Sun light wouldn't be able to supply him with nearly enough P.E. needed to do some most of his feats. I think mind sip calculated that it would take him over 100 years of solar absorption to have enough P.E to survive a nuke. absorption of other forms of Kinetic energy is the only way of explaining his power level.

That doesn't explain how his body was able leech off energy from a volcano, and Doomsday technically IS a Kryptonian. He was born and bred on Krypton, and his cells where the basis of all kryptonian genetic engineering.
