Comic Book Questions

Okay, I have a question, if Eternity is supposed to just represent time and Infinity is supposed to represent space, then how come Eternity is always the main cosmic used as the embodiment of the 616 universe, the main person that anyone who wants to take over/destroy the universe has to fight, and often used to represent both time and space?

When Superman died did he really die, or was he just really close to dying?

He was just close, Eradicator pointed out that there was still some energy in his body which was keeping him barely alive.

Wait. When did people think he wasn't Jesus? 😑

Everyone is forgetting the excellent scene at the end of the first series where Iron-man goes to give Thor the universe destroying bomb to teleport it away. Black widow is skeptical. She says something like "We are talking about a crazy schizophrenic" or something like that. Then the hangar doors open with Thor silhouetted in the sunlight saying "Oh ye of little faith."

Because Infinity is female and because Eternity is a better known figure.

pretty much..but in the Infinity War, i would say Infinity and Eternity had equal roles.

Agility

I'm trying to work out a ranking system for agility. As I see it, 4 things are involved...
1. Awareness: you need to know, of course, what's happening in your environment and with your body.
2. Coordination: moving your body so as to avoid getting hit.
3. Balance: maintaining control of your body and movements.
4. Speed: obviously, the faster you are, the harder it will be for something to strike you (all else being equal).

Keeping the above in mind: who would be considered more agile - Spider-Man or the Flash? Why?

Comments and critique welcome.

Flash. light speed reactions, crazy spatial awareness (needed for that kind of high speed movement) and obviously control so he doesn't kill everyone around him.

Spiderman, easily IMO.

I hear Xavier got his powers back. Is this true? If so, when did it happen? And is he still walking normally (no wheelchair)?

It happened in Uncanny X-Men #486. TThe M'Kraan Crystal gave him his powers back, and it looks like he can still walk.

Yeah, he got tossed into the Mkran crystal and it restored his mental powers. He can still walk but that won't last, he almost never has both his mental powers and his leg use together for very long

He went for a bath in the M'Kaan crystal, then all of a sudden:

*poof*

Powers back!

For about the 100th time, it's really getting a little bit anticlimatic nowadays, like I actually give a **** whether Xavier has to roll around on two wheels or run. It doesn't make a difference anymore, it may have ages ago when it was fresh and original, but it's been over-done to death.

Definetly Brubaker's weakest title.

Certainly, Flash is much faster and tougher to hit. But is that, strictly speaking, agility? His movements are (AFAIK) rather simple compared to the acrobatic, bouncing-off-the-wall Spider-Man does. Speed factor aside, Spider-Man displays the superior coordination and balance; he's multi-directionally evasive, whereas Flash is more linear, just ultra-overwhelmingly faster.

I guess what I'm asking is: given the 4 agility elements, how much should speed count?

Thanks.

Marvel really needs to learn something about being able to commit.
