what instance are we talking about?

and you are right, i'm just giving the same excuse the comics usually do...

The Nitro one.

These other two incidents are what sparked my original question.
- X-23 who cut off her own arm and still had adamantium claws in that same arm afterwards.
- And Sabertooth(But I'm not sure if he still has an Adamantium skeleton) in that Lupine arc got his arm cut off by Wolverine and it looked like a stub.

with the nitro one i think they used the 'his brain was protected' excuse...

i'd say its either the brain thing or just plain lazy writing...

Have any issues of the new Captain Marvel series been released since "Civil War: The Return"?

No.

It's a miniseries, not an ongoing 😬

Both X-23 and Sabretooth only had their hand cut off and they both held the hand back in place and let the connecting tissues grow back between it and the forearm.

Or the artist misinterpreted the level of damage Wolverine was supposed to take.

I see, that makes more sense. Much appreciated.

Wait. When did people think he wasn't Jesus? 😑

he had the maligned savior thing going on, but when he said "my father works in mysterious ways" that kind of cemented it.

Yeah. I mean I got that pretty early on, hell season 2 Issue 5 (wherein Thor is taken down) is even labeled 'Passion Play'.

Is the BlueBeetle another side in this war thats been brewing in GL comics?

AFAIK, no. the war seems to be between Sinestro's parrallax corp and the GLs. BB is still on earth, right? 😕

There's also the StarSaphires involved now.

Spoiler:
They're representing love.

Question: Say a character with an Uber healing factor eg. Wolverine/Sabertooth/X-23/Deadpool loses a limb, how come you don't end up two of that character since both the body and the severed limb contain the healing factor and therefore both should also be regenerate back whatever was lost.
I thought it was due to Wolverine only having one soul (or some mojo along those lines). Akin to why he can come back from the dead.

If Wolverine can regenerate from a skeleton, then why does he need to breathe and why can he be knocked out from lack of oxygen?

Because he doesn't regen from a skeleton- he dies, and his soul returns to his body, which regenerates. Also, he's not concious while regen-ing anyways, so being KO'd from no oxygen could still be acceptable, IMO.

When Superman died did he really die, or was he just really close to dying?

He was dead. The Eradicator was leaching energy from his corpse. the solar power and the kryptonian tech resurrected him. I think part of it was because Eradicator was going nuts and trying to drain too much power. Anyways, Supes revived, but was very weakened. He took a kryptonian war armor and used it to get all the way to where Cyborg's base was. When Cyborg tryed to nuke him with the purified K-nite blast, Eradicator took the hit for him and died. Supes got his full power back by absorbing all the energy Eradicator had contained in his body.
