Did you miss where I was talking about exceptions?

If doop has entered his own head, clearly, he can enter his own head. If the Hulk can muscle around energy, clearly, he can physically manipulate energy. If Superman can lift a mountain without simply going straight through it, clearly, he can lift a mountain without simply going through it.

If anti matter and matter came in contact on panel and had different effects than it 'should,' without explanation? Then, whatever those effects were would be the 'canon' effects of matter and antimatter.

Otherwise, we assume that light has wave-particle duality, we assume that anti-matter and matter annihilate, we assume that gravity is between two bodies of matter, we assume the laws of physics hold except where shown otherwise.

No, I just either tacked on to it, or casually ignored it... take it how you will.

But, when comic characters start pointing out how Doop defies physics more so than nearly anyone else, (which has happened, in case I was too subtle), then I'll claim him as a permanent exception, take my money, and leave. ermmfrown

Now... go away.

Meaning you might have a case for Doop being able to ignore the matter antimatter interaction.

That doesn't support the matter antimatter reaction being ignored completely.

What is the best selling comic book of all time?

Last I heard, X-Men #1 with over eight million issues.

Though I could be mistaken.

You're right.

I found a site that states X-Men #1 sold over eight million copies.

Every site I find, just says that it sold a lot of copies, but doesn't give an exact amount.

Any chance you got a link that confirms that?

Nevermind.

However some fans felt about the quality and validity of the comic they couldn't argue with the sales. The initial printing of the comic was somewhere around three million copies. DC went back to press with the book putting out a version with a new cover featuring a torn piece of Superman's cape flapping in the wind that was sold to newsstands. Still more printing were distributed and when all was said and done the book sold some six million copies.

god, to think of how much better that would have been then say... Kingdom Come.

I believe "The Death of Superman" trade, is the best selling TPB of all time.

On another note,
Has anyone ever read the Elseworlds title "Superman: Kal"?

If not, it comes highly recommended. 👆

haermm

Thanks 😂

Most of the older stuff I have has Claremont attempting to explain the science behind powers through essays while having Psylocke state the obvious and fling her vagina at bad guys.

Where's First Fallen or Jaime Braddock

written by Dave Gibbons with art by Jose Luis Garcia-Lopez

Superman: Kal has Kal's rocket landing in medieval England. Kal becomes a blacksmith, hiding his abilities at the urging of his father. He impulsively enters a tournament to impress the Lady Loisse, who is being held captive the Baron Luthor. Mighty Kal weakens when he meets Luthor, who wears a glowing green gem on a necklace. Luthor also discovers the rocket ship and has Kal work it into a suit of armour and a sword. Gibbons nicely mixes a tale of good versus evil and triumph alongside tragedy as the story builds toward a deadly, violent confrontation. Garcia-Lopez' art is well suited to the setting with lots of depth and detail.

It might sound strange,
but if you like medieval tales, and Superman.... This is a story for you.
