Is it actually Magneto's helmet that gives him protection against Telepaths or is it a mental thing?

Not positive,
but I'm pretty sure Magneto already has a TP-resistant mind, and that his helmet really just gives him secondary protection from said attacks...

Superman/batman vs aliens/predators -3 shot?

It had a good story about a group of preds that crashed many years ago on earth and told how thier culture changed being in earth for many years isolated....its something i just thought of...but i do have alot of the older comics, if i can get to them, i will see if any of them fit your criteria

Alien vs predator war is ok if i remember.

shows a human living with them and it shows how they live and act

it has a Japanese woman with them i think

The helmet doesnt give protection, actually it gives him a type of TP. Here are some scans to prove the point:

Here, Doom gives Magneto back his helmet, and Magneto uses it to look into his past. Doom's also wearing the same technology that Mags has in his helmet, in his own.
Doom breaks the hold though.

Anyone else way down with the direction Brubaker's taking the Uncanny X-Men team in 495? Emma and Scott chilling with Ka-zar and Shanna; my three favorite X-men, Nightcrawler, Logan, and Colossus on a roadtrip through Russia and Warren Worthington in.... sixties San Fransisco?? Awesome. For the first time since Morrison was writing New X-Men, I find that I'm.... enjoying the X-Men. Is this the early nineties or something??
