Kyle? What is it with you damned Kyle-philes?

Canon directly affirmed that Kyle was just a guy in an alley. Nothing more.

(Hal Jordan is the only Lantern that can be described as the Greatest. Capital G. )

1. Guy
2. Hal
3. Guy
4. Guy
5. Alan
6. Kyle
7. John
8. Guy

1. Racist.

2. Guy's shit; going by feats, he's ranked probably ranked even below John.

Kyle is the lantern. He learned how to be the best all on his own without training and he was able to carry on the lantern when there was no one else to. Plus he's shown more inspiration and creativity then any other lantern ever has. He's the greatest even without the help of anyone else.

Kyle Rayner is the torchbearer because he's done what no other lanterns ever have.
As apposed to "Imagination of a potato" Jordan!

He will always be the best I don't care how many guardians, fanboys, writers or what ride Hal's jock.

Fixed for you, as it's essentially the same thing. 🙂.

Well cannonly he brought back the guardians, central power battery, GLC, Hal Jordan, John Steward, Jade and defeated Nero when the entire JLA couldn't, stood up to Parallax powered Jordan without a ring, achieved and willingly given up near godly hood, and over came great fear while using his own will power to hold back black holes when others aren't even able to make a spark with the same.

Correct?

Because that'd be one hell of just some guy in an alley!

And none of that changes the fact that he was never even supposed to see a ring. He was a last resort.

And a cannon with two n's is an artillery piece. And even if we fixed that, I don't believe 'canonly' would be a word, either. Not being a smart ass or grammar nazi at this point, just constructive criticism.

Truth.

Damn, I didn't even notice till now.

I ****ed that up.

"Ranked probably ranked"?!

What the hell?

Oh, well.

Oh, well.

Indeed. The idea was accurately conveyed nonetheless.

I think the word is "canonically" not "cannonly."

I believe so.

Daxamites are Kryptonians that, well, moved to Daxam.

And had a douchebag infuse lead into their birth matrices, giving them their lead weakness.

And, for reference, it's never been stated that Kryptonians are more powerful than Daxamites. On a few occasions, however, Kal-El has claimed the opposite; Daxamites are more powerful than Kryptonians.

Kal has been known to vastly underrate himself, however, so it's much more likely (and logical, being that they're the samed damned species) that Kryptonians and Daxamites are approximately equal in power.

Which was my point - if the choice was Sodam becoming a 5d imp or something, that would be more comparable to a human becoming a Kryptonian

I was just correcting your mistaken notion that Kryptonians > Daxamites. *shrugs*

The only way that argument could be made is from a 'lesser weakness' point of view, that is, Kryptonite is way less common and considerably less lethal to Kryptonians than lead is to Daxamites.

Beyond that, Daxamites are at worst on par with Kryptonians.

Has it ever been explained why?

As far as I know, not explicitly.

However, Daxamites had lead introduced to their birthing matrices specifically to genetically engineer the lead weakness - in order to reduce the chances of them 'spreading' or migrating across the universe.

Kryptonian birthing matrices had no such alteration, and to be honest, I'm not entirely sure why they are weak to Kryptonite - there's a good 'Comic Book Question.'

Anyone know?

Some issues of Superman indicate the mechanism by which green kryptonite may hurt Superman. Superman's cells absorb electromagnetic radiation from stars (like Earth's sun). Kryptonite's radioactivity interferes with this semi-photosynthetic process, driving the energy out of his cells in a painful fashion. Long-term exposure to kryptonite is shown to have the same effects on human beings as exposure to Earth-born radioactive materials; these effects include cancer.

When are the instances that the Silver Surfer's board have been broken?

Is it me or does the man things story seem very close to swamp things?
