If you're referring specifically to Earth-1 Supes, I think the Anti-Monitor did a number on him in the Sinestro Corps War

Cyborg Superman (Henshaw) did a number on him in the SC war, in his one-off.

True, Superman came back, but that doesn't change the fact that he first got his ass kicked - which is what the question was asking.

You can get the shit kicked out of you and still come back and pull a clutch win - which is what Superman (and, apparently, the girls) did.
