[B]If Galactus had the Power Gem, would i be correct in assuming that his hunger
would finally be Satiated, and he could live forever syphoning energy from the
gem?

I would say no.

Because Galactus was going to try that once,
but needed all 6 Gems to accomplish that.
(of course there was a story behind it and he failed)

According to Reed
all the energy through out Marvel's History wouldn't be able to satiate Galactus,
while in his absorption frenzy.

The question is,
can Galactus remove the boundaries of his satiation?

Or better yet,
does Galactus only feed to momentary satiation for the sake of Reality?

What I mean is,
can Galactus continue to absorb eve after satiation?

Heck yea, if a Planet satiates him momentarily it mus be true,
cause we've seen him absorbing Mephisto's realm (a pocket Universe)
and other incidents that where its clear Galactus CAN continue to absorb,
and evidently, there's no limit.

When Galactus "died" (returned to his natural state)
he became a Star made of infinite energy.

And would this put him at the mythological 'Full Power' status?

The Power Gem alone? Nah.

Although, considering the Power Gem's purpose,
logically speaking,
it should be able to augment his power into infinity.

So you may have something there.

Although the infinity of the Power Gem, is not the infinity of the IG.
(in Marvel there are different levels of infinity)

Is Emperor Joker canon? Did it happen in a separate universe, or what?
The Emperor Joker arc is definitely canon - as it's listed under the "Essential Storylines" section of Mxy's latest bio [from Countdown]:

Could Ice-Man, Thor or Storm refreeze the melting polar ice-caps? or do they just not give a crap?

They would probably have to do it over a long period of time since doing it so suddenly would create tsunamis and maybe earthquakes, and mess up the wildlife and kill lots of people.

Besides they would just melt again anyway

We also have read stating that Galactus hunger can never truly be satied so he doesn't have to remove anything except his "conscioness" that never makes him eat more then he requires.

Galactus's consiousness is the more powerful thing in the Marvel Universe!

Thanks for replying pal.

I wonder if the needing all 6 gems is an excuse for ensuring this will
never happen for him.
Because if he somehow aquired the PG, then there would be only the
LT that would be able to retrieve it by force, due to the IG making
someone undefeatable by anyone other than the LT. And i'm
assuming that G would know how to use the gem properly.

This is how i like to think of G. I like to think of him as more than a
common enemy of Marvel Earth. I like to think that he has the power
to end the universe, rather than being scared away by Thor etc.

I hope one day they re-focus on what his purpose is, and what he
can do rather then constantly needing satiation.

This was what made me question his potential with the aquisition of
the PG, whether or not it would satiate him for eternity, and therefore,
making him Eternity's level (or far far higher), as the myth states.

Although the infinity of the Power Gem, is not the infinity of the IG.

I knew he wouldn't aquire all the abilities of the IG through only the
PG, but because he can do almost anything already, i assumed that
the PG would augment his abilities to infinite levels so he wouldn't
need all 6 gems.

Interesting idea though, a infinitely powerful Galactus without the need
for satiation. I wonder how he would behave with such a significant
change of lifestyle.

due to the IG making
someone undefeatable by anyone other than the LT.

Adam Warlock....

Where is it stated that Shazam's power is amplified 100x in the Rock of Eternity ?

I think Captain Marvel stated his power was, not Shazam the Wizard

nothing to see here 🙂

How much of Man things history has been retconned with the last series?

I'm only asking because I've seen this mentioned many times on forums and nobody ever brought any scans/issue numbers. So I don't know for sure who said it and in what context.

The "Dead of Night" issues are garbage, imo. 👇

so, is IronMan the Skrull then?
does that mean Black Bolt was the real deal?

I would wait till the next issue.....i.m.o they would have revealed the iron man thing instead of teasing, i think she is just messing with him

Why would blackbolt be real? it was revealed he was a skrull....how does tony being one(if he is) change that?

How does Tony being a skrull affect Black Bolt's standing AT ALL?

Black Bolt was already revealed to be a skrull 😐

if I'm not mistaken Tony was the one who revealed BlackBolt's Skrull status, to the rest of the illuminati.

the scene played more like how Boomer (BSG) was when she discovered she was a Cylon... the denial, the befuddlement and then (in the future) the acceptance, integration and adjustment.

I'm thinking it would be a little redundant to have more than one skrull infiltrate such a small group as The Illuminati.

No the blackbolt skrull revealed himself to them when tony called a meeting to discuss the elektra/skrull 😉

I can see where your coming from, but i think no matter what happens with tony...blackbolt was still a skrull, and with your line of thinking....tony is not going to be a skrull.......i have read that bendis is a BSG fan and he might have hinted that its where he came up with the idea.....so you never know 🙂

We even see Black Bolt changing into a Skrull and attacking Illuminati.

ah, was just speaking from memory... guess I didn't recall the scene too well.

I want IM to be a Skrull too... would give the heroes the option of killing him 😄.
