none, really... unless he's actually close to the sun...

doesn't he get constantly recharged by the solar rays?

I mean Superboy Prime got one ray of sunlight and was supercharged...wouldn't regular supes get some charge out of normal sunlight

not any more than usual... he's a solar battery, and generally has a consistent amount of power... it's only if he uses his powers that he needs recharging...

superman is charged most of the time, prime was running on empty...

It didn't 'supercharge' him. Prime was very weak when the ray of sunlight touched his hand. Once this happened he started going back to his standard power level. Remember, Prime is a pre-crisis Kryptonian

If for example a person is able to destroy planets in the Microverse (the Genis/Sentry fight for example), should they also be able to destroy a planet in the normal Universe ?

Only if the "Micro"verse's planets are to scale with, say, planets from the 616 - and I'm not sure about that one to be honest. But for some reason, "Micro"verse just makes me think "small." *shrug*

everything in the microverse is, supposedly, on a miniaturized scale compared of the regular universe. i seem to remember, though, that the "planets" that were abound in the microverse were proportionately smaller in comparison to genis/sentry than a "normal" planet would be. planetoids, perhaps. and i can't say i know for sure how regular universe powers translate when operating in the microverse, so who's to say?

Well if in the microverse you get shrunk too, so the planet is still the same size relative to your own body as it would be in the normal universe, then I don't see why you couldn't do the same in the normal universe.

the microverse isn't populated with a mercury-venus-earth-mars-and-so-on-and-so-forth series of planets. it's not a model, it's just scaled down. it's not like they destroyed microverse earth, they destroyed what were planets there. whether those were of the same comparative qualities as planets are to genis/sentry in the regular universe, we don't know.

The Universe that contains the Microverse,
is just as big as 616 or any other Universe.

The Universe itself is not microscopic,
it's the nexus that leads to the Microverse which is microscopic.

So basically in order for one to reach the Microverse,
one has to shrink to sub-atomic size, then upon entering the Microverse,
one balloons back to normal size.

So on average,
Planets in the Microverse Universe in size are = to the size of Planets in 616 or whatever.

Yes. The microverse (at least per current continuity) is a normal size universe/multiverse that simply happens to be accessible only though microscopic gateways.

well **** me sideways...

anyway, planets in the normal universe also vary vastly in size. mercury to jupiter, for example. jupiter is more than twice as massive as mercury, venus, earth, mars, saturn and uranus combined. so, while beating up planets is a neat feat, it's not really safe to say that the same could be done to planets in our universe, given the range of sizes.

they could very likely bust up planets of the same relative size [in our universe] as they ones they destroyed in the microverse, though. closest answer we'll get, probably.

And Pluto is actually smaller in diameter than our moon.

But Pluto isn't a planet anymore

Need help with remembering a DC character. I used to have this toy of this little goat/ram looking guy gray skin/fur with like a black shirt and bage pants and he came with a long gun. I think I had an issue of the blue energy superman with him in it too and he had on Superman's regular costume. I want to say his name is Quark if my memory on the toy box is correct. Who is this guy?

i don't even want to think about it... it was a pretty woeful time for superman comics, imo...

superman homepage says:

Ceritak
(Also known as Scorn) - Ceritak is the Prince of Kandor. His father was one of the elite council members whose job was to uphold Tolos' laws. Ceritak (being a rebellious individual) searched for a way out of Kandor. He spotted Superman phasing in and then out of Kandor's plane of existence, and dived after him, making it to earth's reality. As a stranger in Metropolis, he at first fought Superman, but soon proved to be an ally. He wore Superman's red and blue costume when Superman's powers changed, but eventually decided to make his own name in Metropolis. He is a friend of Ashbury Armstrong's, whom he saved from a kidnapper.
An alien and a building from Kandor mysteriously appeared in Metropolis, and Superman sought out Scorn's help in investigating (Action Comics #749). They, along with Ashbury, went to Kandor, to find that someone called The Inventor had been attempting to free the city by transporting it. He was actually the Cyborg, who then framed Superman for the death of Scorn's father Cerimul. Superman was arrested, and the Cyborg began to transport Kandor on top of Metropolis. Superman escaped and, with Scorn's help, trapped the Cyborg between dimensions. Scorn decided to come back to Metropolis, his sister becoming their father's successor as leader of Kandor. Soon after returning, Scorn disappeared, leaving only a note in his undecipherable language.

First Appearance: SUP #122 (1997)
