Dr. Strange was the most powerful sorcerer in the Marvel Universe. He ruined alien magicians pretty consistently; even one's from other dimensions and universes.
Who it is, now? Talisman is probably up there; Marvel has been stressing that Doom is getting to be a lot better of a magician. That's a tough one.

I just finished reading Thor: Son of Asgard, and Thor 75-85 (which deals with the return of Desak and the end of Ragnorak).
Question: When there's a war in Asgard, why doesn't Odin just blast the invading army to hell instead of losing his warriors in battle? Obviously, he has the power to do so. Why?

i see it online for 20 should i grab it to even though i already have the blue one ?
No.
It's value will never be particularly higher than it is now; check out Youngbloods 1, and it's billions of "limited edition" variant covers. Worth less then when it first came out.
Read it just to enjoy, and don't trip about whether or not it's a good "investment."

im not one of those crazy guys that goes and buys action comics #1 and stuff. i have some reprints of old popular stories just to have to read.
the most valuable book i have is probably hulk #180 in mint condition
might have to look back at my tarzan issues as well see how much they go for now

Agree, Asgardians love to fight, so Odin just taking care of everything for everyone would ruin their fun, deprive them of valuable battle experience, and honorable deaths

Theres no greater sign of honor then dieing a glorious death in battle to them. There warriors fighting is there thing
No, I get that.
Maybe I can rephrase the question.
When you see him fighting in said battles, for instance at the end of Son of Asgard, is he holding back?
Maybe he's just not using the OdinForce.
When and why did Deadpool start having a voice inside his head? It wasn't present before the new series began that I'm aware but in all the new things involving Deadpool like Game of Death, Suicide Kings, and his series he has his yellow boxes, and then there are like a white or gray box also that's talking to him.
in the first arc of the new series, i believe the white boxes were meant to be nick fury's off-panel voice. the white boxes in the later issues, and these offshoots, i have no idea.
did john wraith, to be played by will.i.am oh goody gee whiz, get his last name published prior to the handbook information in wolverine: weapon x; or was it something just made up by the editors/for the movie? his only appearances i'm familiar with were in the maverick series, where he was specifically referred to as john wraith and wraith. just wondering.

wonder woman can block pretty much anything with her bracers. but lets say electro or Livewire where to shoot a blast at her and since the bracers are metal wont that shock WW or no ?
Being that they are magic, I would expect normal physics to not apply. However you never know what would happen in an actual comic
