is Defenders volume 3 canon? and have dormammu or umar made any appearances since then?
Dormammu has appeared since then. Umar hasn't (afaik.)

And yes, Defenders v3 is canon. It's events were mentioned in the OHOTMU bios of both Dormammu and Umar:

I don't think depowerment is the same as having all her previous continuity retconned.

Care to expound on that? Barring Circe Pre-JMS Wonder Woman was outright superior to those villains mentioned.

So, Galactus has got owned by Galileo, Newton, and Da Vin Ci 😐

When will the jobbing end?

Read my mind. Galactus got owned both in the first and third issues of S.H.I.E.L.D. Hopefully, they were both just different re-tells of the same event, not two different Galactus ownages.

So? They were just human vessels. This is Galactus we're talking about. The Great Devourer of Worlds.

It was the same event.

And they didn't so much as own Galactus as literally create a new Earth for Galactus to consume, saving their own Earth. This is clarified at the end of the issue.

S.H.I.E.L.D. is a fukin trip. I love it.

Crisis on Infinite Earths.

that doesnt make sense that was the 1st crisis in the 80's.

i agree the universe restarted but, Pa Kent died again from a heart attack in the 90's.

so how was brought back the second time around?

are you talking around the time of Death Of Superman? Pa did technically die, but he met Clark in the afterlife and they both came back to the land of the living iirc.

no he stayed dead.. he just wanted clark to live.

and it wouldnt explan martha living alone and clark coming back and reminiscing about his dad on the farm. iirc.

in adventures 500 jonathan spoke with clark and they came back from the afterlife together. jonathan woke up in hospital.

or are you talking about something after that?

i'm too lazy to look it up but, he brought back clark but kent still died...iirc.

then kent died again during a brainiac moment.. facepalm

doesnt matter i just wiki'ed it and it said that Geoff Johns had brough him back in 2003 but with no explanation to the readers just that he was back on the farm alive and kicking. 😒

It was probably just Superboy Prime's doing.

must be the reality punching excuse. 😒

if we cant logically explain it the reality punch is the cause. 😗

i mean how do you go to superboy and tell him i feel for you i'll share my parents they will raise you..

some one should have said: where the f#$# you bn Pa?! you are suppose to be dead!!!

not here you go superboy my parents will raise you and you can play with your friends(titans) in the weekends.

anyways.. what.......ever....

is superman's origin still the same, as in his race dont do physical contact and he himself is just a genetic test tube baby he grew and was made in the rocket or was that retcon of the original, retcon?

he was alive before that. In OWAW for example. He was alive when Superboy was on the farm too.

and no, Superman was born. That origin was retconned years ago. He's been just a baby in a rocket for at least a decade if not more...

There's an alternate-timeline thing going on, but it's yet to hit anything outside of the WW book.

Giganta is running around is Secret Six and Donna Troy is current in JLA, for example.

When that whole timeline thing and how it works is cleared up, then we might see outside effects.

To expand on the Wonder Woman thing further with new info, this is Diana in a preview of the Return of Bruce Wayne #5, and she's not JMS-WW.

So the JMS stuff does seem to be limited to that one book (I don't think DC's quite gotten how the 'revitalize a character' thing works... at least if they're not bringing back a dead silverager).

I smell a "it was a dream" retcon in the works. 😛

So does that mean Umar is older than Dormammu? I always thought it was the other way around.
