I don't have the scan on me but where did Hawkeye gain the strength to lift a car? It happened in the latest New Avengers issue.

I notice this too. In one Avengers book he went down with the other heroes when a devise went off that took their super powers away. He has no power. Somethings up

They don't work under a red sun, Krypton orbited a red sun (Rao)

it took him down b/c his body still retained some of the pym particles from the past. it was a residual effect

Has he used Pym particles recently? My theory was that he got depowered somehow because he was resurrected by SW.

no.. but, it was implied that "even hawkeye was effected" as a residual effect of him once having powers.

Ok, it works for me, just read the issue once and I didn't link it with the Goliath era 😄

anyone know tha name of the mutant girl who has a zoom lvl power to step out of time?

it was the assumption i dont have the one where she says even hawkeye is down. iirc that is what she said it was an emphasis

Dumbgo

no, i dont think that is her. the girl i am talking about is young and she has to be careful not to touch anyone where her powers are on or risk hurting them in the normal time frame due to her speed and mass.

Sway? From the X-Men?

*looks at -Pr-*

...

Alright everyone, who's a more obscure X-Men character...? Tempo or Sway? This will decide who is more geeky about X-Men.

uhuh

😂

i do love my x-men. or at least used to.

is Thanos referring to Toaa? if so, then wouldn't what he said contradict Toaa's supposed omnipotence?

^ Yes.

But it obviously wasn't really an impossible task for TOAA, as his powers were ultimately used to fix said damage.

The End just seems like Jim Starlin's ultimate Thanos-wank story.

It reminds me of the climactic scene of the 1999 Joan of Arc movie where "God" (or the Devil, or Joan's imaginary friend, the movie doesn't make it clear) asks Joan why she thinks that God--an all Knowing, all powerful being-- would need a young French peasant girl to do anything.

The same question here, why would TOAA need an Eternal from Titan?

I don't think TOAA needed Thanos per se. I think it was just a "now that you have ultimate power, will you give it up to fix the ultimate problem" type of scenarios. Still pretty dumb, all things considered.

It's a "god didn't need Thanos, Thanos needed god" scenario. TOAA hates nihilists.

Question:

if wolverine Died from firing the pheonix bullet and his skeleton melted, where did the demon wolverine get his body from?

Short and sweet: Who's more powerful, Circe or Zatanna?

My leaning is towards Circe, but I'm not sure.
