The writers overlook this ✅

how exactly does Galactus "eat" planets? 😐

He doesn't, he converts the life force of the planet into a form of energy compatible with his digestive needs then absorbs that energy... he doesn't actually consume the physical body of the planet

thnk, sorta wierded me out for a while.....i could imagine him jus chomping down.... 😆

displacement and friction are 2 separate things. even if you could completely negate friction, any object with mass will move the air around it when it moves. the whirlwind effect is more a result of displacement than friction.

And what the other guy said too.

I was reading the new tourney fights, is a full scream from Black Bolt really considered equivalent to a nuclear bomb?

I was sure it was far more then that?

Question: I had a few years where I missed some X-Men series about Gambit and New Sun. Can anyone let me know what issue those were, thanks in advance.

from www.uncannyxmen.net

The New Sun is an alternate Gambit, who was raised with his full power and intended to become the fulfillment of an ancient Guild prophecy to create Heaven on Earth. However instead, when he charged up his power in a special ritual, a chain reaction was started that caused everyone on Earth beside himself to burn up. Failing to remake time, the New Sun traveled to other universes, hoping to prevent the same thing from happening there. However, he found many worlds in ruins, often because of that world’s version of Gambit. Coming to the main Marvel Universe, he first attempted to create a new world where everyone would eventually be transported to, using the main reality’s Gambit to help (without revealing to him who he truly was). When he learned that his plan wasn’t possible, he tried to kill Gambit, transporting both of them to his destroyed homeworld before he became a threat to the main universe’s Earth world as well. During their final conflict, Gambit finally blasted the New Sun, burning out his recently increased powers, just as the New Sun died.

No idea what issue numbers they are though, sorry...

It's far more powerful than a nuclear blast (any current human made nukes anyway)

It hasn't been toned down for the tourney because it's a herald level tournament, meaning anything up to and including power feats equivalent to the likes of the Silver Surfer

Green Lantern's ring is supposed to be able to do anything that he can imagine. Does that only work with physical things? Could the ring make 2+2=5? Could the ring change history?

Okay, I read the Green Lantern respect thread which answered my two previous questions, sorry about not finding it first.

I am obviously not familiar with the GL's, my only experience of them is from the Justice League cartoon. With that said, how can anything challenge a strong Green Lantern? What kind of villans does he fight? Since he can do whatever he wants, it doesn't seem like there would be much of a story. Also, he is the most powerful character in comicdom, right?

Tres cool.

That's how Ultimate Galactus should've been done.

My question: the Vision has the power to change his density. Since he doesn't change his size, the only way his density can change is by adding or subtracting mass.

Where does the extra mass come from when he gets denser, and when he gets less dense, where does it go?
