^ There have been a few instances where Spectre's powers have been ineffectual against beings without souls.

This happened most recently when he attempted to judge Nekron:

He's unable to judge soulless things.

But I don't think for a second that not having a soul should prevent the Spectre from affecting you.

Demons generally don't have souls and the Spectre has pwned demons before.

^ I think it may also depend on how powerful the soulless entity in question is, and what purpose it serves. I say that because Spectre's powers were also useless against the King of Tears, for much the same reason:

But like you said, the inability to judge another being because they don't have a soul, doesn't mean Spectre is unable to fight them. His battle with Anti-Monitor in COIE is a prime example of that.

(And Spectre was unable to contain the KoT's essence within himself the first time around, and got pwned in the process.)
