^ Airwalker, among other robots/mechanical devices, could pick up Mjolnir and whacked Thor with it. The others probably could as well. But neither Airwalker, nor the other robots/mechanical devices turned all Thor-like when they did. So I guess they'd just be able to handle it rather than be imbued with its power.
He just adopted the name iirc, because that was his dad's name (he had a 'fake' dad and a real dad, but for the life of me I can't recall which one's name was Logan). Read his Origins series for more detail if you want.

Logan is his real father's name who he killed after seeing him kill the man he knew as his father who his mother had an affair with which wolverine was born from.
when wolverine and Rose escaped the estate they took on aliases to hide from the law. they reached a mountain mining town and the 1st name that Rose blurted out was Logan.
hence how he got the name
