Initially yes, but he was retconned to be a much weaker entity becuase well, having someone that hax didn't work. PM Galan, he knows a lot about this stuff.

Would anyone recommend catching up on Daredevil for someone who dropped the title right after the "Return of the King" arc? I had budget issues and stopped following DD around that time, though I vaguely know of the events of Shadowland and recently read the new Daredevil #1. Also, would anyone also recommmend I check out T'Challa's series post Shadowland as well?

DD post-rotk - I would. Good read and Shadowland makes more sense if you check it out first.
