Originally posted by Galan007I hate to admit it, but I'm blanking on when Marvel used this 'ultimate' in one-upmanship. The only other instance that readily comes to my mind is the climax of DC's OWAW, and hell, they went for two big bangs (one-up that, Marvel!).
It's happened a few times... I wouldn't say DC has utilized big bangs over the years any more than Marvel has, though.
In any event, I guess Batgirl's netherparts just got caught in the wake.
These came to mind...
During FC when Supes used HV to breach the protective dome/singularity that covered Command Bunker D (Darkseid's stronghold):
That feat is pretty hard to quantify, but it is still quite impressive imo.

Using HV to stalemate Darkseid's Omega Beams:
---
Using HV to one-shot an Imperiex Probe:
---
Using HV to repair a rip in the fabric of reality:
---
And one of my personal favs: Using HV to heat up the entire world:
Supes (obviously) had a sun-amp there, but I was impressed not only by the sheer scope of the feat, but by the fine-tuned control he had when applying his HV over such a large area.
