Yup and it was a sucker punch in JLA and in Kingdom Come supes beat him after being hit a lot by lighing. I present the kicking Nefaria and Hyperion (original Sqaudron Supreme) gave Thor as pretty good evidence what super speed and strength does to him. 😄

the CN fight with thor is a very good example of how the fight between the 2 could go. i think CN was more like pre-c supes though - i mean back then AND more recently he totalled the avengers single-handedly. i don't think current supes could wreck the old avengers lineup like CN did. ironman, vision, thor, wonderman, cap directing traffic - that was a VERY potent lineup, and i'm even ignoring wasp and beast AND the scarlet witch!! CN was/is a seriously BAD ass! current supes is in my opinion less than CN. i'm sticking with my 6/10 in thor's favor, but i'm thinking it might really be 50/50. ah, hell, i love both characters!

Thor has godlike reflexes and superhuman speed as well. He's fought and overcome enemies with speed equal to Superman. Thor has reacted and countered attacks from the Asgardian god of speed, Cabal. Thor has been fighting for hundreds of millenia. Superman's speed wouldn't be anything new to him. He isn't going to catch Thor off guard.
Superman's fighting speed definitely isn't superior to Thor's. If this were pre-crisis Superman, he could win by getting Mjolnir away from Thor. Or, he might get turned into a gorilla. At any rate, Superman's reflexes aren't faster than Thor's, and he isn't more powerful either. Mjolnir is capable of almost anything. Thor was once able to stop time with it. It's power is immense.

Last I checked Thor could move at multiple light speeds at least that's what Marvel says and that's what matters. I know he never does this but in these forums the fighters are using all their powers and if this is the case Thor out guns Superman by alot.

Thor has FTL reflexes. His biggest challenge against mongoose would be how to subdue such an aggressive opponent without killing him.

Lex 2000 special: Superman made the trip from Earth to Saturn in well under 4 minutes. By comparison, light takes about 19 minutes to make this trip and also in the Lex 2000 special, with a single strike, Superman split one of Saturn?s moons in half. Saturn?s moons are small moons.

Actually nothing should be able to move at light speed in the earths atmosphere, but thats beside the point.
Well Thor can move as fast or faster that the lightning he commands(According to Marvel). I was in Biology the other day, and my teacher told me that lightning would move at the speed of light if it were in space, or something to that effect. Thus meaning Thor has faster than the speed of light reflexes.
Superman is faster than energy bolts also. He should be able to out run anything Thor can throw at him.
