thank god! the arguments finally over!

I agree with that, but I'm not going to start arguing with him about it. let's just hope Mr.Parker doesn't start arguing with you, Superman 24. 😄 By the way, thanks for sticking up for me, during that whole argument. 🙂

You're welcome.

Superman will listen to Parker, whole story, when he PMs me every detail.

check your pm box,I just pm'd you on WHY the movie is so horrible and poorly written and WHY it looked like it was written by a 5 year old. 😄

Ok Rupert, sorry, you are a girl, i will try dont forget it.

But yeah, at least in my country and in europe, the man spider movies were more bashed than praised.

actually, Spider-Man did Great in the UK. though I'm not too sure about the rest of europe. Maybe in spain, which is where you say you live. but it definitely seemed to do great, worldwide. but if you say so.

That's not true.I live in Ireland and I have cousins in England and Germany.

Spider-Man was a critical and box office success there. As well as in Ireland.

well, for the fact that it was grossing a lot of money in a few days, and that Spider-Man 2 did even better, It must've had a lot of people who liked it. People don't usually see sequals to movies they don't like, unless they were forced to.

Plus, I checked online, and I remember finding a boatload of people from the UK who loved it on some website, giving it an 8 out of ten, which is pretty good.

Yeah both Spider-Man 1&2 were huge successes here.

They were praised on TV,Magazines, newspapers.Pretty much everywhere.

The second movie did not do near as well at the box office though but thats normal for sequels. There are only rare cases like Terminater Two where it did much better at the box office then the first film.

The manspider movies are like The Phantom Menace.Without its well built in fanbase they have and how popular icons they are,no way do they do well at the box office like they do.My friend Doc, Green Goblin from SHH was the one that brought up that great point to me once.

Not, you are wrong. In my country, spain, the movie was a success on box office , but there was more bad reviews than good ones. In England the same, or in Germany, Italy, France, Holland, etc.

The movies was more bashed than praised in europe. And i have a friend who is a critic and has some friends in germany, england, italy, france and holland and he told me that.

Dude I'm telling you my father's family live in germany,my mum has several brothers and sisters in england.

All my cousins know I'm a Spider-Man fanatic.

Believe me when I say it was critically acclaimed in those countries.Same with Ireland.

I can't speak for Italy,France and Holland. But the irish, english and the germans loved it.

This is really strange , because my friend told me that he movie was bashed in germany too. I dont know about ireland.

It was praised in ireland... and we have some horribly arrogant critics...

Well, you can't always trust a critic. they've been known to hate the greatest movies of all time.

Spiderman not ManSpider
