This would'nt even be a problem if there was just one agreed format/aspect ratio.

Widescreen is generally better however. There is more perceived movie because its easier for our eyes to scan picutures horizontaly rather than vertically.

This shit pisses me off when they release two seperate movies for widescreen and fullscreen. I dont see why they dont just give you the option of choosing between both on one movie. Many Dvd's have a feature where you can choose from widescreen and fullscreen format before viewing.

Obviously Widescreen for me. We have a widescreen TV, which makes it even better too. Yet, I encourage others to buy Fullscreen, so there are more Widescreen copies for the rest of us!

The only reason why i bought the DVD's in full screen is because i couldnt wait for them but i am going to sell the full screen's and re buy the DVD's in widescreen soon. Widescreen is great beacause it actually shows you the whole film!!

i remember back when AOTC first came out i got the LAST copy in widescreen that was on the shelves at that time lol

For other movies (especially ones you care very little about) fullscreen will suffice. 😉

The only people who buy full screen, and I am saying this from expierence so don't give me crap, are old people and Mexicans.

Movies like LOTR or Star wars, you have to get them in widescreen, because everything that was ment to be in the frame of the picture was put to be there for a reason.

I was one of those people who watched fullscreen movies before but then realized it cuts some parts of the movie so widescreen is much better and you enjoy the movie more

Wide screen the whole way, if find i get dizzy if I watch a full screen version cause everything is too close and they way it pans around sucks
