1) Stacy X could be fun for laughs occasionaly, I think in other writers hands she could have been used better.

firstly, that brings in receipts, not critical acclaim...

its a general observation... for every guy who likes gambit ive seen at least one who doesnt...

and thats all im saying, people seem to be overstating his popularity...

If this nothing to do with sex, then why did you state that he is only liked by women as if its a bad thing?

Seriously, he is probably second in popularity in the X-universe, so how could you exaggerate his popularity??

And do action movies need critical acclaim? NO! Because people go to see action movies for action.

Gambit is a very popular character.

POPULAR CHARACTER IN MOVIE=GOOD FOR BOX OFFICE RETURN (which is what any movie is about anyway...)
