what is love
love is bright love is like in all its might
what is love
love is pure
to hate, love is the cure
what is love
love is true
but then again its also blue
love is a pain like no other
and though at times your heart may flutter
you long to be alone
for love is a feeling
where pain and pleasure grow
for love is a feeling
as bright and dark as coal
what is love
love is fear
but it is something all hold dear
what is love
love is true
love is all i hold for you

but sadly it aint happin
my life is an example
so heed my warning
i wake knowing this
every morning
im but an example of what not to do
my life is a failure dont be one too

oops i feel dumb
there once was a boy named nate
who was born at a golden gate
well this gate turned black
so he stayed in the back and drank away his fate

((is it bad that i love rhyming and use it in all of my poetry?))

Nah it's not bad to use it in everything you write; it's a style that's suited to you, so use it ✅

cry i can not for when kindness they give me
i only shout and yell
Cry i can not for i am dead inside
yes its a pity
but i know it with pride

i deserve no good

and tears are human they dont pour fom dirt
its all that i am
and its no lie
these are the reasons i dont cry

This is my favorite, short and to the point, good poetry, keep it up.
