Well I can only assume, as my knowledge about this is limited, but partly it was surely because he needed someone he could blame for everything bad happening at the time and the Jews just seemed to fit in his idea of the scapegoat. *sigH+ Poor Germany.. Many people still assume Nazis and stuff with Germany. And I fit perfectly in the Aryan description for that matter. 😛
