It's just the way it has always worked, really. Back in Marvel's heydey of the 60s, there was much better internal logic and continuity between titles, due to the fact that almost all of them were being written by Stan Lee. But even old Stan would make a slipup or two now and again. (The real reason his names often used alliteration--Peter Parker, Sue Storm, Bruce Banner--was because he had trouble remembering the names of his own characters!)
Nowadays, you literally have hundreds of writers taking their shots at the same characters. Discrepencies are bound to happen. You have to just take it in stride.

I'm going to apply the laws of physics to the debate even though they probably don't really apply. This calculation is proabably horribly flawed, but its just an indication of what superior strength can do, Spider-Man is just an example and can be replaced by anybody of superhuman strength levels (I did this in Batman vs Spider-Man - waiting for someone to logically counter me)
For the sake of argument.
30000 lbs = approx 13500 kgs
The force required to lift that is approximately 135000 N
That is Spider-Man's max exertion.
To make my calculation easy I'm going to say Wolverine weights 135 kgs.
That means if Spider-Man lands a blow at max force Wolvie accelerates at about 1000 metres/second squared. That means in one second he has accerated to a speed of 1000m/s or about 3000 feet/second. Spider-Man lands a single punch to the face, Wolvie's in for serious brain trauma.
that would stricty go against pretty much all of wolverine's showings vs. any character at spidey level strength or above...using real world logic..spidermans bones didn't become any denser due to the bite...he breaks the entirety of all the bones in his arm on impact...

spiderman got it all in that sense, flexibilty despite strength, speed despide muscular weight, etc.etc.etc.
I think he brought up some (some) good points...but overall he either made stuff up, ignored ocounter points completely or made claims that the trio can't do things because said things never happened.....even though the feats he was arguing against did infact take place...generally I was unimpressed..

Bottom line: xmen especially wolverine have become gods, from street heroes, going through gay second mutations and such, I liked the street ones better.
and basically what you need to do now is create a resume and send it to Joe Q., and tell him "yo dawg... your writers dont know shit. let me write for the x-men. then ill retcon wolverine taking a nuke, nearly killing hulk and defeating spidey. dont worry ill blame it all on wanda"
just retire, man. just retire.

wolverine is cool... dont hate him. and dont hate the writers too, there's a reason why they write the stories and we read themwe all know who can kill who in a spidey vs. logan match...
i dont think spidey can punch him that hard to actually kill him
yes they write them to make money or didn't you know

Why are you pestering me you ,You still made no point, people are starting to hate marvel writing, and they are desperate, which is why angry fanlettters, made Magneto came back with paralyzation.
I buy THEIR books and can say what I like or don't
This is a discussion about the liklihood of characters doing this or that, not what I'm writing for someone elses pocket, if you believe everything you read, you are a fool and shouldn't be here.
You've mad not a point and still suck, worse than a fanboy who has an opinion, thoug I must say you use that quote feature well.

So you're admitting that Wolverine is superhumanly strong, then.
spide's light body with his strength and lucicrous proportionate muscle allows him to do those feats,, wolverine is able to do superhuman feats, likeyou or i under great stress, but he is still classified as a peak human, I've said it before.

Spider-Man's a skinny guy, yeah, but it doesn't necessarily follow suit that it makes him stronger. If Peter Parker had been a 6' 4" 220 lb. Football Player instead of a science nerd, and a radioactive spider had bitten him, he'd be stronger, not weaker.

bone density is direct with the strength of muscle,which means he got it all;
ummmmm no......bone density doesn't inherently become stronger unless induced by trauma...spiderman did no such thing..the change in physiology that would give him superstrength has nothing to do with bone density...end o story...
No get this the smaller a creature is the proportionally stronger it is.
A beetle would have no problem carrying a beatle, but a large elephant would have much trouble supporting another full growna elephant.
what I'm saying is that spidey's light body makes the most use of his strength, the stronger the muscles in a limb, the faster it goes.

So Spider-Man shatters his metacarpals. The blunt trauma injury sustained by Wolverine due to the force would be enough to cause a severe concussion.
i've already explained how wolverine's healing factor coupled with his bodies survival instinct would have made him develop homer simpson syndrom which would explain why class 100's can't do this to him...and haven't been able to one punch him since the early 80's...
