And read again. For one Sodom and Gomorrah are in the Old testament. The one that Jesus contradicted, the one you should not follow. Second it was not because of homosexuality that they were destroyed. Lot had angels as guests and the people of Sodom and Gomorrah wanted to meet them as well, but Lot didn't want that and instead offered them to rape his virgin daughters.
