The evidence is on Goku's face when he saw what was in front of him, Goku even fought off Vegeta, to avoid being forced towards the rock. Vegeta is also a smart fighter, he doesn't just randomly try something with knowing it whould work. Plenty of feats has also been shown for Superman which beats every feat the DBZ/GT characters has done. 🙂

2. Its not even that Goku and Freeza's fight cause the planet core to become unstable... but it is the fact that Freeza Aimed and hit directly at the core of the planet with his strongest attack To deliberately destroy the planet.

Filler: Goku had a rock thrown (wasn't even whipped or chucked) at him by Kuririn and Goku was crying out in pain
Manga: Gohan was clearly scared when Goten whipped that rock at him (not ENTIRLY sure if it was canon, I'll go check back later)
