Goku can't beat most DC & Marvel heroes. To name a few:
Sentry
Spectre
Superman
Captain Marvel
Silver Surfer
Galactus
Darkseid
Mongul
The Hulk
Thanos
There are others but these are just a few who would completely pwn ALL DBZ characters without even using half of thier power. Sure Goku was based off Superman a little but that doesn't mean he's stronger. And don't bring Power Levels into the mix because that's their energy rating, not their strength rating. Goku struggled with 40 tons in his base form & had to use Super Saiyan to get control over the 40 tons. At Super Saiyan 3 he may probably be able to lift 200-400 tons but that's nothing compared to characters like the Hulk & Thanos. If at the beginning of DBZ his Power Level would've been a little higher or if he would've gotten to King Kai's place just a little earlier & would've received more training, maybe he'd stand a better chance against Superman but he'd still lose. I'd recommend that Goku train A LOT more before he even thinks about touching Superman. When Goku can take a megaton blast that is capable of destroying half of a galaxy, then he can consider himself to be even with Superman. But as someone stated in another Goku versus Superman thread, DBZ characters don't seem to be able to take physical attacks very well but Superman can. Sure Goku may be able to take ordinary hits from his weak friends but when it comes to villains they start hurting pretty easily. They're supposed to be so strong yet they get hurt so easily, I hate that. And Superman is able to breathe in space & it is never revealed if Goku can or not but he probably can't. Don't let your fanboyism get in the way of facts, DBZ characters are virtually nothing to more than half of Marvel & DC's heroes & villains.
Based of the time when Goku pushed a large hill in two (it's not a mountain, it has nowhere large enough) I'd put Supersayain 3 Goku's strength in the low millions of tons at maximum. This is sort of contradicted in GT when Both Goku and Vegeta have trouble holding up a collapsing building while SS4. This still doesn't help as Superman cruises the high billions under normal conditions and has no real limits while under stress.

Goku isn't even able to lift 700 tons. And saying Superman is in the billions & trillions is exaggerating, he's only in the millions. Goku is only in the hundreds but he is nowhere near able to lift 700 tons seeing how he struggled to lift 40 tons in his base form. At the end of Z he MIGHT have been able to lift 600-900 tons but he's not in the thousands or millions like Superman.

Anyway, the only DBZ character that has a chance (sort of) is SSJ4 Gogeta but he'd still lose. Superman is just too much for all DBZ characters. Even Captain Marvel would be able to beat all of the DBZ characters.

Nevermind, you are not understanding the nature of what I was saying. Anyway, strength doesn't really matter that much in fights. Goku is the greatest martial artist in his universe. Martial Artist > Non-Martial Artist. Don't believe me? Just look at Karate Kid kicking Superboy's ass. And KK doesn't even have any powers. Goku can fly, has Instant Transmission. Energy Blasts, etc. and to top it all off he IS the greatest martial artist in his universe. And also Superman_45, Goku would hand Hulk's ass to him anyday.

Superman knows martial arts too. Superman had done everything. He's took a blast that could've destroyed half a galaxy but he remained unharmed. That's not something Goku can do. And the Hulk destroyed a planetoid bigger than the Earth with his bare hands, also not something Goku can do unless he uses his Ki. The Hulk would own Goku. Pft, fanboys.....
