Not in continuity. Funny; Hulk gets killed twice by Thor, but both are considered out of 616 continuity. Here's one event cleary out of 616, and they claim it as proof. Quite fishy, I say. 😉

He hits Thor so hard that Thor drops his hammer. If not for the clarion call that causes the Hulk to look away (and gives Thor the chance to get a cheap shot in on Hulk) Thor would have been without his hammer for more than a minute and turned into Donald Blake. An agreement is reached, but Hulk just views that as a betrayal on the part of Namor and Surfer and leaps away.

Despite his greater power, Marvel always insists Thor hold back or not fight properly against Hulk, to make it even because of Hulk's popularity. And conversely, despite Hulk's great power, they make him job to Wolverine because of Logan's great popularity.

The Hulk just shouldn't be able to beat everyone, is all. I'm of the view Thor defeats Hulk more often than not.
Hulk's best chance to best Thor is when he doesn't have use of his hammer - but why get into that? It's a part of Thor, and his arsenal. I hear the same thing when they want Hulk to fight Superman w/ no flying or heat vision, or Silver Surfer w/ no flying or power cosmic blasts. If Hulk can't defeat some characters abilities with what power he has - super strength and durability - that's life.

Hulk saves Thor's life by punching him away from ground zero and still manages to get to his prepared hiding place. Either way you look at it Hulk took Thor's best shots and still used him exactly the way he wanted.

On these forums, when Hulk is matched against Wolverine, Colossus or Thing, I vote for Hulk. When he's matched against characters like Thor, Thanos, or Superman - characters of great versatility - I vote against him. No bias is intended or used; just my logical sizing-up of power & abilities, with history playing a part.
