Thor vs. Hulk

Hulk was also defeated earlier in that annual. It was 1-1.

Hulk was killed, by Thor with one hand so your point of respecting Hulk is moot.

I have that comic so ill clear it up they was fighting and hulk beat him like a round i suppose, then later on thor knocked out hulk with lightning, then later on they was battiling and it was ovious who had taken the most damage if they done it like a boxing match it would be a win for the hulk.

In the end, Thor is just too versatile for Hulk. You have to at least come with 3 or 4 powers to mess around with Thor realistically, and even then most of the time you get trumped if you aren't creative with it, and a master of what you do. A brute character should not defeat a character that can give him a match physically, and then has dozens of other abilities on top.

not my work just a link;thor(classic 616) never kill hulk......probably "king- thor" is different, i see the scans hum.....i think is a lot thor fan but hulk can't die normally is an god healing factor;for example in "hulk,the end" i can't die,all other heros in world dies by ground zero explosion ,only hulk survive.......

Not in continuity. Funny; Hulk gets killed twice by Thor, but both are considered out of 616 continuity. Here's one event cleary out of 616, and they claim it as proof. Quite fishy, I say. 😉

Since nobody claims responsibility every nation suspects the other. To avoid the war Hulk decides that he must act as the world's scapegoat again. He transforms into the Maestro and sets out to a specific location up north. Thor had been having some trouble with his power, but he miraculously regained them for the fight. During the course of the fight it seems as though Hulk is totally enraged and that Thor has succumbed to the Warrior's Madness (that boosts his strength tenfold). The fight continues until Hulk sees what he was waiting for. The army is dropping a nuke on him. Hulk is lucid again. Whether you believe that Hulk was just acting enraged or that the site of the bomb brought him back to reason you have to admit that Thor was in the full throes of Warrior Madness. Hulk saves Thor's life by punching him away from ground zero and still manages to get to his prepared hiding place. Either way you look at it Hulk took Thor's best shots and still used him exactly the way he wanted.

I also notice late in that fight, how the writer and artist conveiniently have Thor keeping his hammer in his belt, instead of swinging it...nice PIS & CIS...

Thor wasent in the WM mode the whole fight. He was getting there at the end when the fight was broke off.
