The respective company that made the two characters have had Hulk take the advantage more than not.But because of the way we think the characters should operate the creators (and copyright owners) opinion is thrown out?

Why do people think Hulk could win this?
The main problem is Hulk never really had that big of a reason to be angry with Thor.
Had Thor been the one to banish Hulk and kill his wife and child, then it would have been Thor, not Sentry, getting his skull pounded in at the end of WWH # 5. Even with the Odinforce he would have got beat down.
The times Thor has scuffled with Hulk was more Hulk just acting like a kid and brawling for stupid reasons.
