LMAO!

"Can Lando Calrissian and the 101st Airborne defeat baby Anakin?"

"No, he was the chosen one".

Primo debating method there!

He was answering to vpokedjymafid (or whatever it is) when he asked if Luke was the one that fufilled the prophecy.

LOL exactly... Nobody is talking prophecies here, it's a vs. Hypothetical situation.. Stop reading too much into it Numan

Meh, I didn't read that. Probably should have. Either way, prophecy is a plot element and not admissable as a reason why Anakin pwns anybody, or else he really COULD beat everyone even as a baby.

Unless of course there were more chosen one's, which seems to be true if you listen to Jolee Bindo... After all he talks about a chosen one, he preformed his important in live by being thrown into a reactor shaft and accidentally making the ship explode but the point still stands.

And the fact that the Sith even after Anakin somehow managed to survive and probably will return later on.

The idea of the Chosen One is more or less a central movie plot than a "One time only" cosmic event in Star Wars. And considering that EU is an alternate universe, I fail to see how people can apply that standard to everything.

Well the thing is the chosen one prophecy is never really made clear it could mean a lot of things, it was also never said that it would Anakin the most powerful or that Anakin was the only chosen one. A lot of the prophecy remains in doubt, and why couldn't there have been more? I mean the main prophecy it was based on has more then one chosen one, or at least has the chosen one return to earth a second time...

I think the biggest killer is that the idea of the prophecy was to prevent the SIth from upsetting the balance.

Well, it would seem to me that the Sith have done this many many times before. Why should the PT era be the only exception?

Don't know, which again is a reason why there could have been more chosen one's.

Sith were stopped before, according to Mace or was it Yoda in LOE (I think Yoda) that can only be done with the chosen one... The Sith weren't killed for good after the events in ROTJ. Sidious returns. So Anakin could not have been the only chosen one. He didn't end the Sith for good..

I believe the prophecy was the same one in the Matrix. There wer many chosen ones. You could say Revan was the chosen one of his era, Anakin of his, and Luke of his..

i love jolee bindo
