I really don't agree with that. Yes marriage for a lot of people is worthless and a lot of people get divorced. But at the time of marriage it can be a extra sign of love that you are willing to commit to more then just living together and signing some stupid contract. Why do you think Gay people want marriage so bad, so they can get divorced? Or perhaps because they too believe that there might be some bigger picture behind it, that it shows you are willing to commit yourself.

So what if a lot of people get divorced it doesn't take away the fact that a lot of other people really want to get married and really see it as a sign that their love is forever.

Not to mention those christian and Muslim nuts that think you need to be married to have sex...

Wait, perhaps you are right. Marriage should be banned would stop those people from breeding.

Its very Ironic that Massachusettes has the lowest divorce rate in the nation.

why get affirmation from a church that is against homosexuality? seems they can easily "marry" under different religion. Plus, I was told in voodoo, there is a way of switching male and female spirits or possessing someone with an opposite sex spirit, causing that person to seemingly desire the same sex, in old europe, they called'm succubus incubus, look up "succubus incubus voodoo" in yahoo, number 5, or the 5th one down, you'll see info on occult and switching or spirit possessing.

Because that's a marriage in front of a church the government can't force churches to allow people to marry there, nor should they. It's none of their damn bussines. However the government can allow people to get officially married. You don't need to get married in church to get married, you don't need the blessing of the church. You need the approval of government and the government should give it, no matter how churches feel about it.

Churches can stop gays from marrying there.To get married at a church you have to be a man and a woman and go to that church.JM

this is a christian nation, non christian nations would love to marry gay Americans (and they have), it's a joke to them (one more not producing) and i'm sure they are in the side lines cheering these folks to fight their own government. just like non-christian nations may allow American men to go there on business and have sex with underage girls/boys, they won't go to jail there, but they will go to jail here, again, christian nation. not all countries think pedophilia is a bad thing, what's the difference? this is a christian nation, some love to break the moral fabric of this country so that this country will not be as strong, so, they don't mind feeding into the lust and affirming non-christian behavior.

3. There are way more straight pedophiles than homosexual pedophiles

5. Why would gay marriage destroy this nation? You would have said the same thing about interracial marraiges and ending segregation.

Darkside, the pro-gay community has been trying to attack the church for a long time, including the catholic church, namely by joining the clergy, becoming priest, and then demanding for the church to support gay marriage or they do things such as molest children to undermine the name of the church, weakening the church among the secular (non church) world. they also support stories such as Jesus having sex with Mary or that he was gay himself, I've seen so many tactics used to attack from within the church, and the catholic church is fair game, as they have become clergy and Jesuits and marist and have demanded the church to accept their gay lifestyle because they are working for "god", most who are gay are into the occult anyway, as this is the group that allows for gays for they know the male/female spirits that could end up possessing someone of the opposite sex, which causes them to lust after someone of the same sex, so a lot of them are heavily into witchcraft and dark occult, which may have been the start of the possession in the first place, who knows?
