:: After grabbing her apple she sat down and caught the beer with a smile before twisting the cap off and taking a swig. She was thirsty. before taking another bite of her apple:: Thanks...didn't think id be much help....think i kinda flipped at the end......almost drowning an all...

He nodded.
"That's what was so helpful. Somehow, you managed something unthinkable and tapped into your power just a bit..."
He raised an eyebrow.
"I think it was all the stress..."

Or fear....i was scared out of my wits...sewer pitch black.....:: she shuddered:: Like a nightmare ive had....though it didn't turn out all bad. Faced my fear, thankgod she didnt swallow my necklace..:: She smiled pulling it out of her pocket:: Its not that im religeous or anything i just liked it...:: Silve celtic cross:: Father bought it for me years ago..

He nodded, hating what he was about to have to tell her.
"You realize that you'll not be able to wear it now, though, right?"

i noticed its been itching me like crazy....:: She looked down at her chest it was all red and sore..:: Well i'll still keep it....comes in handy heh...:: She pushed it in her pocket before rubbing her fingers together, they were sore from just touching it::

He takes a swig of his beer.
"Yeh, lycans are allergic, though, so make sure you've got a nice layer of something between you and it... It can kill you..."
He pulled a picture of Kairi from his pocket and places it atop the TV, knowing it would help him keep focused when he was working to find her.

:: She takes another drink of her beer and watchs him place the photo up on top of the tv, she looked to it:: That her....? She's pretty...:: She lent back getting comfy on the chair she was sitting on, before biting into her pple and finishing it off. Though she was getting a bit of a tummy ache from it::

He nods, not taking his eyes off of it.
"Bout 100 years younger than me. Her parents adopted me, thinking I was about 19. She was three. A vamp broke in one night, and she came running to me. Said a monster had hurt her mom and dad. I went to stop it, but they were gone. I killed it, though. Took her in as my own sister afterwards. She's never been turned by anything. 23, now. She knows we all exist, but she's okay with being human. Damn fine hunter, that girl."
He downs the rest of his beer, then heads for another one, deciding to bring the rest of the six-pack with him.
"Axel should be here in the morning with that money. Of course, you'll be getting half, since you helped catch her and whatnot..."

....you...you don't have to...seriously....:: She turned round watching him in the kitchen and sighed peering to him. His sister wasn't that much older than her. She felt like a kid compared to the rest of them. So ****ing childish compared. She tuned back round and drank some more of her beer::

He wanders back, sitting back on the table.
"Yeh, I do. You were present on the hunt, you did half the work... you get half the cut."
He sits the six-pack between them.
"And so we drink."
He grins slightly, then opens another, wondering where in God's name Kairi has gotten off to...

Well you never know she might be hiding up somewhere....know what was coming you know....:: She smiled downed the rest of her drink and grabbed another can.:: i just hope those lycans don't come after me...you dont think any of that involved me though do you?

He shrugged.
"Dunno. I don't see how, but it could. There's no telling with them... And I'm not sure where she's gotten to... She'd have at least answered her cell by now, wouldn't she? Dunno... maybe not... depends on who all is after her..."

Hope not.....:: She took another drink and with her half empty stomach she could feel the alcohol kicking in already as she lounged back in the chair:: You know i should reallyget a shower......but i just can't be bothered right now....

Jacc woke to a loud knocking on the door, very startled.
"What the Hell?"
He picked up his Beretta and walked over to the door, making sure it was loaded, then swung the door open, holding the gun at eye level with the person behind it whilst taking a sip of his coffee, never looking at the door.
"Axel. You're a bit late. Or should I say early? It's almost sunrise."
The redheaded vampire stepped into the room, grinning ear to ear, and patted Jacc on the shoulder.
"Jacc, did you really think I'd be here right when you called? Or should I say when your new friend did?"
He cast a look around, his eye resting on Hope (still asleep) for a moment, then back up at Jacc.
"I heard what happened with Riku and Sora. Word's all over town. I've got others scouring the streets and back alleys for Kairi. We'll find her, mate."
Axel sat, Jacc rounding the room to grab him a drink whilst putting the safety on his Beretta and resting it in his belt.
"Red wine, Ax?"
"Nah, just some of your whiskey will do."
Jacc nodded, bringing him the drink.
"About my extra cut on the Sohma job..."
Axel smirked, lowering the glass.
"Yeh, I figured you'd bring that up... She took extra time to nab, and she led a raid that killed two of your friends... I'll pay you double, but I gotta know one thing first."
"Fine. What?"
Axel nodded toward Hope, taking a drink of the whiskey.
"What's with the stray?"
Jacc nodded at him, understanding his curiosity.
"She was bitten. Lycan. In her apartment. I happened to be in the neighborhood when it happened. She's staying here until we're sure the Lycan what bit her isn't coming back after her again."
Axel laughed a bit.
"Since when are you so damned sentimental?"
Jacc cast him a look.
"I'm not. But I don't think it's fair for someone to be turned and not know what's going on. It was what happened to me, after all. Besides, she helped ring in the Sohma job. The extra cut's for her."
Axel pulled the money from his flowing black duster, handing it to Jacc.
"Thanks. Any other jobs?"
Axel nodded, standing to leave.
"Yeah. Find your sister. Word has it the Vampire and Lycan warlords are conspiring to try on her what Lucian and Kraven did to Corvin. And between you and me... the kid's too sweet. She'd never take to the first Turn from either side, let alone both. Go save her. I won't pay you... But we both know it's nice to have a job we can handle completing, right?"
Jacc nodded as Axel left, shutting the door behind him, shouting back at Jacc through the closed door.
"And don't be afraid to use that rage to Turn if it helps to find her."

:: she was still asleep and it wasn't until the door shut that she jumped awake and looked around to see where she was. Yawning she rubbed her eyes down and leaned forward putting her head in her hands, she had a massive headache and her dreams hadn't been tha peasant either. Sweeping her hair back she looked around and saw Jacc standing at the door:: Who was that?.....
