Jacc sat there for a minute, shaking off the blow. "Alright, then. You wanna play hardball, let's dance." He stands, grabbing his Blacktail and loading it with his specialized Silver rounds. "I said I wouldn't kill you. I never said I wouldn't stop your mobility for a few days." He loads a clip, then grabs a few spares before jumping out the window, following her scent. The moment he thought he'd found a lead, rain began to fall. "Shit..." He followed the direction from whence the scent had come, then heard a howl in the distance. "SHIT!" He knew that particular howl. It was the call for others to join in the hunt. He didn't have long to stop her before others came along to help her.
:: She huffed and puffed, the rain cooling her aching muscles as she slowed down in an alleyway. Her snorts steaming the air as she got down on all fours following the scent of humans. Hiding in the darkness she could see many walking the streets, but that wasn't her style like any predator she had to wait till one was on its own. Make the hunt easier. Drooling slightly she stayed low before someone wandered into an alley. A pair.....prostitue and a man. It didn't matter to her who it was but at they passed her and turned down the alley she stalked them::
Jacc stood atop a building, watching a lycan he believed to be Hope as it stalked a couple in an alley. "There you are..." He watched as the man fumbled at the woman he was with, the two apparently enjoying themselves just a touch too much to be in public, dark alley or not. "Well, let's just see that it isn't your last time ever..." He leaped high into the air, drawing the Blacktail as he did a quick frontflip, landing just in front of Hope. "Miss me? Let's try this again." He knew he'd caught her offguard from the look in her eyes, and he smiled, kneeling a bit as he aimed the gun at her. "Dance, dance..."
:: Suddenly as she stepped closer she hadn't noticed the smell as he had been downwind. When he jumped infront of her she reared up looking down to him. Growling knowing her surprise attack had gone she raised a large arm to knock him back again. He was still lycan she would not kill her own kind but if they got in her way she would surley treat them a lesson::
He saw her raise her arm and shot right into her shoulder, not wanting hit again. "Silver bullets. And I don't hit the same trick twice. You're falling apart, kid. Gonna need better plan of action than that." He leapt back, a small somersault in midleap, then landed on his feet again, looking for only a small second at the couple. "Hi. Why don't you find another alley to carry on in, this one's about to get very crowded." The couple gave him an odd look, then shrugged and ran over to the next street. He looked back toward Hope. "Now. Where were..." She had disappeared. "...we? Ah, shit..."
:: She'd jumped onto the roof of the buildings and was now wounded, the bullet stung her like a bee it burned and as she stopped for a second her fingers fished into her flesh painfully and retreived the bullet. letting it drop to the ground she howled again hoping some others would help her. The howl was strange though, male werewolves have a deep threatening howl, hers was higher, hypnotic, calling every male lycan in the city to her::
Jacc heard the bullet hit the ground and looked up just as the howl rang out again. He wasn't exactly amused that she was fighting him on this so much. "Feck... didn't think she'd be so intent on this." He looked at his watch. 2:30am. "Damn. Still at least three and a half hours 'til daylight..." He leapt to a fire escape, making his way up to where she was, slowly but surely. He had to put an end to this before she hurt anyone.
:: The streets where empty, she was sniffing the air now for something else. Her stomach growling she needed to feed and fast. The urge to hunt in her mind making her move on while wounded as she made her way down into the street and into the open where she stopped and howled once more, long and proud this time, waiting for the pack to be drawn in::
Jacc stopped dead in his tracks. He wasn't sure what it was exactly, but something was fighting inside of him, urging him into the Change. "No... not gonna do it... It's bad enough we've got her running around out of control... Gotta keep... wits about me..." He popped a silver bullet into his arm, trying to regress the Change as long as he could. "I gotta stop her soon... This is getting annoyingly ridiculous..." He ran after her, ignoring the searing pain in his left arm. He'd learned to work through the pain in all his years as a bounty hunter.
:: She heard a faint howl coming from the other side of the city. If thats where she had to go she would go. Stretching out her wounded arm she shuddered a little something coming back over her that something wasn't right. Something was very wrong about this and that she should stop. She stood in the street her mind fighting over it::
:: she roared in pani and stumbled back turning round to face him, this time she didn't stop and ran straight for him but then a few feet before she got to him she stopped shaking that large canine head of hers, white and grey for shaking wet as she looked to him. Her eyes suddenly went sad looking to him, she whimpered slightly backing off away from him::
He dropped to his knees, the shrill pitch of her howl disorienting him a bit. He wasn't too pleased with the sound, and made a mental note to himself to wear earplugs next time. Again he fought the urge to Change, to help her in this dangerous hunt. Dropping his gun, he held his hands over his ears, knowing that he couldn't take much more, especially owing to his heightened hearing... He took a quick second to pull the gun in close, leaving his left ear exposed as he placed the gun in a holster on his thigh and latched it in. He covered his ear again, hoping any damage he'd sustained wasn't long-term.
:: Turning she saw him on the ground turning to him she lowered onto all fours and saw theblood on his arm where he has shot himself. Her tongue coming up to lap it up before looking to him and nudging him almost willing him to change. He had put the gun away for now but she could use him in the hunt. Her eyes black animal like now as she turned and limped on all fours down the street::
Jacc knew she wanted him to turn, but he wasn't about to indulge so sinister a request. Especially considering she had no clue what was going on. He laughed, now alone for the moment. "Heh... boy, I'd kill to just sit and watch Advent Children with Kairi right now..." He closed his eyes for a moment, taking in his breath. As they closed, shutting out the lights of the city, he saw Kairi beckoning him to fight the will to just give in and die. Opening them, he stood, fighting through the pain, and walked to the roof's edge, trailing Hope again. "Alright, let's end this now."
:: She heard another howl closer and picked up the pace limping on that wounded arms of hers before she saw someone sat in the street. It stopped her in her tracks....it was a guy homeless and it was a perfect oppertunity. though when he saw her apparoching he screamed. roaring she closed in ready to make her first kill::
