Yoda or Sidious?

I thought Yoda and Sidious were equals.

They are pretty much equal but in the long run yoda is much more powerful

yeah that is true. But still he wouldv'e stood a better chance against the chancellor. But if yoda was bigger then it probably wouldv'e intimidated palpatine. and give yoda a better chance.

Meh, not really. Palpatine was a tad intimidated, as we saw when he tried to flee, but Sith don't really back down to intimidation. That would be weak.

But the sith have fear.

Yoda was much more powerful. For a sith lord palpatine was smart but not that powerful. With a blade atleast.

yoda is more powerful! but it does seem that in episode 3 he becomes weak while fighting the emperor.

Yoda was forced to fight on Palpatines terms. Had they been on a duelig ring of somesort my money would go for yoda...

If yoda had the high ground he wouldv'e won that fight. Even though he lost he is more powerful.

I don't know why, but it always cracks me up when people refer to Palpatine as Palps or Palpy... it's like someone referring to an endearing Uncle or something... "Hey, Uncle Palpy!!!" Too funny!
