As a Londoner in London now whose brother was in central London this morning. I have read some of the posts in this thread and frankly I am appalled at how stupid and insensitive some people are.

Many of my University friends are from London, and there is a likelihood they were in the area when it happened. I have still yet to hear from any of them.

So I'm not in the mood for making light of any of this right now. Anyone that does needs to f*cking grow up.

I feel sorry for all the family, and friends that lost a love one.
Also feel sorry for the country because of all the stress it is under.

I know some of you think its not a big deal, but let me tell you if it were in your country you would. Why? because you don't know what will happen next. Sure its true that 9/11 was worse, but fact is that its still an attack. It still hurts people. Therefore its wrong, and we should find the people who did it, and quickly.

You never know who will be hit next. It could be anywhere, because the people who make attacks like that don't care about anyone.

I'm not saying to worry, but I just want to let everyone know that this is serious, and should not be taken lightly.

Well, sure, 9-11 was a big attack, horrific in every sense of the word, but because I regard human life in such high esteem, an attack like this is still held with as much horror to me.

People still died. Just one life is important. It doesn't matter if it was 30 or 2000. Life was still taken away. People, with families, histories and futures, each individual has so much life in them that it's absolutely awful when it's just one person being taken.

The numbers make no difference, and people shouldn't guage 'importance' depending on the body count, and just because the numbers of deaths are lower, doesn't mean it's time to make haste with the funny and start talking about it like it was some joke.
